This is a well made chair that costs much less than name brands with a similar style. It is very light weight and comfortable to sit in!The chair is easy to setup, the frame practically unfolds on its own and then relatively easy to slip on the fabric seat.Taking apart is a bit more challenging. Although easy to remove the fabric seat, folding up the frame is tricky at first -- can feel like you are wrestling with a live creature :-). Still, after a couple of times I now understand how to get the connected pieces back into a compact shape and secure together with the included velcro strap. Everything is easy then to put back into the storage bag.

Love these chairs, especially for picnics where some people are sitting on the ground (like at the beach). other camping chairs put you at a totally different level, but these let you just be comfy. they are so light and easy to transport. With my larger camping chairs I always debate whether it's worth it to bring them - with the little chair, it's a no brainer! They are a little fiddly to put away, but you'll get the hang of it.

This chair weighs 2lb but is the sturdiest backpacking chair I have seen. It is super easy to set up, it practically sets itself up when you open it. Closing it is a bit more tricky because the legs want to pop back open while you’re trying to fold them all in.I liked this chair enough that I purchased a second one and we use them while camping for our two kids. I also keep them in my van and have used them several times while at the playground or the beach. There are cup holders on each side which is really nice.I purchased this chair and an REI chair for $60 (on sale from $99). The REI chair is 1lb and very compact but not as sturdy in the structure or the seat material in comparison.We do two types of backpacking: family trips with young children where we pack in only 4-6 miles on easy trails, and adult trips where we hike 10-14 miles a day with lots of elevation gain. I would recommend this chair for a short, family style backpacking trip but not for a serious backpacking trip where every ounce makes a big difference.

I bought these on the recommendation of my friend and co-worker. She bought 2 sets, one of which we use as kindergarten teachers when we have playground duty with no seating area. I use my set as a soccer/gymnastics mom of 2 young children. These camping chairs are perfect for taking to soccer practices and games, and to gymnastics classes where the seating options provided are metal bleachers or plastic picnic tables. The chairs are very comfortable, and sturdy enough to allow my 6 year old to sit in my lap. What I love the most about these chairs is that I can easily deploy them out of their bag and easily fold them back into the bag. They take up minimal space in the storage compartment under the cargo area of my SUV, and I can throw them in my Bogg bag or stroller basket when I need to use them. I am SO happy that I was introduced to these chairs, and to have a great alternative to lugging around a traditional soccer mom chair in addition to my stroller and big bag of toys and snacks that I tote around several times a week.

This is potentially a great product. The frame is lightweight, but strong. It is easily transportable to the beach. I especially love that it folds up small and weighs only two pounds because I walk from my home to the beach. However, the seat made of fabric fell apart at the seams after only 3 uses. Such a waste of money and disappointment. I tried using fabric tape to fix them because I really liked using them, but that was of no use. I bought the chairs in August of 2022 but did not go to the beach until January 2023 so had not unpacked them or tried them out until getting to my winter home in Mexico

The chair is light weight, easy to assemble, and comfortable. However, one of the string tethers on the leg broke on the second use. I’d have rated this chair higher if that had not happened. I’m going to reach out to see if I can return/exchange it.Update: Customer Service has been excellent. They offered to send a new upgraded chair but at 5lb it is just a bit too heavy. When you are trail camping, that extra lb could be food. When looking again I will reconsider. Upgraded to 3 stars.

Edit 01/09/23: Moon Lence has provided replacement seat material. The new seat appears to have much better stitching than the one I had originally received, so it should last through any camping abuse. The chair is comfortable and light weight, making it a great add to my backpacking gear. Excellent customer service, contacted me when I had an issue and sent a replacement right away.Purchased this to take backpacking, the chair was generally comfortable and the frame is sturdy and well made. However, just shy of a month of my 7 year old sitting in it one of the seams in the material ripped open. Glad it happened at home and not on the trail.

I needed a small, packable camp chair since I had to carry all my camping gear a mile or two into a festival and my regular REI camping chair was just way too big for me to carry with the rest of my stuff.I expected this chair to be really uncomfortable and small since it packs down so small, but wow this chair is actually comfortable!! I could imagine this being great for shorter backpacking trips. It’s light but not ultralight. Perfect for me though! Im super impressed and will continue to use this for years to come.
