If I have exactly an 8' ceiling, how tall can the user be without hitting their head?

My husband is 6 ft and we have 8ft ceilings in our basement. It works for him but is close. Also can make a slight difference on whether lean forward or back.

It is noisy, I actually wear ear plugs when using it. The ear plugs cut the noise out for the most part. But I have to turn the volume way up on the TV to hear it with the ear plugs in. I do not think it is any nosier than any other machines I have used. I use to use one at the gym and it was nosier than this one. I do really like the machine and for the price it is well worth it. I have done a little over 15,000 floors on it since owning it and have not had any major issues with it.
