a great addition to our new sink and counter

hello, when we decided to get a new sink and faucet, we wanted a reliable company and excellent design to fit our needs and minimal space. hansgrohe was selected, but it had an old tall spout removable head faucet before and it was always getting in the way when using the sink. we had to move it over to the side, out of the ongoing usage of the sink below.that got to be old, but at the time, we thought it was handy for what? fill tall pots? too heavy to move to the stove. small washings? too far away without pulling out the handle for a good spray or wash.eventually the long inner tube of the hose started not to function well and it was time for a new faucet.this time, the same hansgrohe company, but, a shorter unit that fit nicely on our new sink and left plenty of room for "just space." the handle still comes out when we need to spray the inner walls of the sink. it is definitely smaller and now shows the custom tile backsplash with ease.clean up is simple as its surface is wiped down with a clean cotton towel. no water spots or residue. this new smaller faucet does the same thing as the taller unit it replaced and does it better due to not taking up useless tall arched piping and hose. those tall handle units are overrated and the new smaller version is easier to use and looks better in the new sink installation. ONLY THE BEST WILL DO ! ! !

Purchased this new Hansgrohe to replace our original Hansgrohe kitchen faucet purchased over 26 years ago that recently began to develop a slow leak when using only the hot water....the investment was well worth it over 26 years ago as was our recent investment in our new Hansgrohe....the only drawback with the old faucet was that it did not swivel.......problem solved with this new faucet......the plumber we used to install the current faucet said that he only recommends Hansgrohe faucets......we purchased the 1.75 GPS model which gave us plenty of water power.....this is an exceptional faucet of impeccable quality ...HIGHLY recommended.......

Nice Fit and Finish, Good Price, Great Design, But is it Perfect?

Great looking modern style faucet. Basically, pre-assembled in the box.No matching escutcheon plate is included but they offer different sizes at around $45.00 per unit.Fast shipping by Amazon. Pretty good pricing from this vendor.Note the 1.75 GPM water volume...a great feature, especially if you have existing low water pressure.Another feature, love it or not, the spigot has a slight angle pointing toward the front of the sink (or sides, however you're aiming it) not straight down. My prior Franke spigot was directed straight down, I became used to that condition.Overall, a nice addition to the kitchen.

Meh, sorry to say

Got one of these based on the reputation of Grohe/Hansgrohe, and it looked nice in pictures. It replaced a lowboy style pull out faucet of similar design that was suffering from a misfunction of the button that toggles between the spray/flow function.Like that one, this on/off button is located on the bottom of the pull out spray head. This makes it look nice and clean, but is maybe not the most ergonomic or easily accessible location. And though it looks nice enough, the materials of this faucet are pretty lightweight and basic. The spray head feels plasticky and a bit cheap to be honest, and getting it to re-dock neatly into the faucet neck is not a smooth process. It takes a bit of lining up and a good little shove to get it to re-seat. And the interior hose has a coarse surface that, while probably making it more durable, creates friction along the inside of the neck tube each time it’s pulled and and pushed back in. Even with the counterweight correctly installed below the counter, it doesn’t exactly snake back into place on its own when trying to retract it. Far from it, in fact. And the stainless no-spot finish looks nice, but it shows water spots. So while it is in the more budget line of Hansgrohe kitchen faucets, it also feels like it. I kinda wish we went with one of the goose neck faucets with the spray heads that pull down and not out. We had one of those in the past, and operating it was much smoother and ergonomic. This could be a problem with all lowboy style kitchen faucets like this with retractable heads. And maybe I just needed to spend more to get a higher quality, luxurious unit. But you don’t really know how well these things are going to work until you actually install and use it for awhile.Would I get one of these again? Probably not. Even though it was easy enough to install, it is unfortunately not a pleasure to use. It’s just okay.Edit, update February 2024: this faucet is not good. The sprayer button has started a leak, with water running back down the handle and onto the counter. Luckily, this only happens when the faucet head is in spray mode, and it’s less bad when the head is retracted. But still, it renders the spray mode pretty much useless. Very very disappointed in the poor quality of this faucet. Going with a Moen Sleek pull down faucet. We’ve had a pull down faucet (rather than these lowboy pull out types) that just plain worked a lot better than this one, and it was much more of a joy to use. If we hadn’t sold that place and moved into a new one, we’d still be using it.

Beautiful Classy Faucet

This is our second Hansgrohe kitchen faucet. Not being a fan of the “restaurant dishwasher look” in my kitchen sink I searched a long time before coming across a simple yet elegant understated faucet that lives up to its German reputation. The faucet performs well with its pull-out spray and smoothly glides back and forth across the sink.Great price.
