After 23+ years of regular use, the original driver interior handle on my 96 Tacoma failed. To replace it, I purchased a pair of these handles for around 13 dollars. Although they didn't fit like the original, I was able to make them work. A few days ago, and after just nine months of use, the replacement driver handle broke at the plastic bottom pin the handle rotates on. I wasn't expecting decades of service for the price I paid but I was expecting at least a few years of use. Needless to say, I just replaced the failed aftermarket handle with a Toyota OEM part for 35 bucks. These might work if you're in a pinch and need something cheap but they are in no way equivalent to the Toyota OEM part.

This product fixed my broken door latch. My Tacoma is 22 years old. I have owned the truck for 9 years. The OEM Factory Door latch lasted for at least 9 years(don't know if it was replaced before i bought the truck). this replacement lasted 6 months before it broke. The worse part is that don't drive this truck much. It is a secondary vehicle. At the most i drive it 3 times per week. usually only to work and back home. So i can only imagine how much sooner the handle would have broken if i had to drive the truck everyday. The price of this item was great, the instillation was easy but in the long run you would be better off buying from another manufacturer. I am going to try a different seller and hope for the best. Perfect fit seemed good. Lasted about 10 months. Just broke. The stock ones lasted 20 years and 360000 miles. This one garbage in less than a year

Very very easy tp install, a great value compared to parts houses and I got it in two days as opposed to two weeks!

It was darker brown than my interior but installed and worked just like oem. Just glad to be able to open my door without rolling my window down.

These were pretty easy to install. Worked like they were supposed to. Would buy again if I needed them!

Strangely, within a span of 2 weeks both of my interior door handles (Original) broke on my 1995 Toyota Tacoma. I ordered these replacements and they fit and work perfectly. Edit: After a few weeks, both of these replacement handles broke as well.

Easy and Quick Review: if you are installing this in a older Toyota then you know the plastics get very brittle after many years.The OEM of this is very expensive, so if this last even a few years then i'm good.
