What an amazing bargain! Sixteen feet long with lights closer than 3/4" apart! I'm replacing halogen lights above and under the kitchen cabinets and I keep thinking of more uses for these (they're such a bargain). With the lights spaced so close together you get a nice continuous glow (assuming the lighting is indirect and you don't actually look directly at the light strips). The adhesive works great - very strong with a protective cover that you remove just prior to sticking it down. The light strip has a place to cut it apart at about every 2" so you can fit it very close to the exact length you need. You will want to get a package of right-angle connectors and strip-to-strip connectors with wire between the connectors to do a professional looking installation. These are fun to install! The dimmer allows you to set a perfect light level.

These are insanely bright. I'm so glad I got the dimmable ones. I envision people tumbling down the stairs on the brightest settings. They were easy to install, directions were clear and easy to understand. As I said they're very bright on high and on low, it's a bit tricky to get that right spot on the dial, got to turn it nice and slow. But you can get them to a nice low glow. We used them on stairs for upstairs so the kids could see without having to turn on a big light or trip in the dark. They're perfect for that. Adhesive seems strong, when installing I attempted to lift and shift a bit and it peeled off some paint on the drywall. One strip did the whole side top to bottom of the stairs. Time will tell how well they stick.I'm now going to buy the waterproof version for outside. Hopefully a plane doesn't mistake them for landing strips.

I have installed these lights in the storage racks of my little workshop, 4 runs, 4 sections each for a total of about 48 feet of lighting.I soldered the runs together with 6" strips of 18ga-2 conductor wire then I wiped the rack surface down with alcohol and stuck the lights in place. The glue is quite sticky and seems to be of high quality. The lights are powered by a 12VDC 5 AMP power supply plugged into a switched 110VAC outlet (2 cond. wire, power supply and switched outlets are NOT included).They work great, I can now see inside of every bin without using a flashlight. I will let you know if these ever fail, but so far I have zero complaints!

These are internal use only. The LEDs are basically exposed where as outdoor rated stopes have a clear plastic/rubber coating over the LED side. So that makes these seem a little more fragile than the plastic coated ones. But shouldn’t be a bother since the price was unbeatable! Dimmer works really nicely, though at some dim levels it buzzes a little bit. The lights are nice and a cold bright white. The adhesive worked well installing, remains to be seen if they start peeling after some time. Just make sure to clean the surface with alcohol wipes before sticking the strips down.

I used these in my 3D printer enclosure. They stick around the top, facing down perfectly and even in 40c+ temps it hasn't come undone. I also specifically picked this one because of the ability to control the lights with the dial, which works pretty good... However for some reason it tends to not actually turn all the way off, it gets the point where it "clicks" off and should be off, but there is still a faint light coming from them. This is why its only 4 stars, otherwise a great buy for the price.

These little LED lights truly do have multiple ways you could use them. While most LED string lights do not come with the power supplies this one does not and it was a bit of money to purchase an external power supply.With that being said the lights can be used in so many different ways. I have used them iin several ways and linking another set is very easy. The self-adhesive backing was very easy to use and is strong to keep the lighting where you place. The LEDs have a nice soft true white color to them. These lights would work excellent as a backlight around the TV or other areas. These lights are exactly what I was looking for. Normal string lights are too obvious and messy so I decided to try these out and couldn't be happier. They are easy to install and are not highly visible. I also love that they are dimmable and have a remote, two huge plusses. Im very pleased and will be purchasing more. I am very particular about lighting and I have found my favorite lighting source!!

Using this on a rectangular - back of door - full length mirror. It is more than sufficiently long, easy to install, super bright, decently durable and cuts down to size easily. I really like the dimmer given that I'm using on a mirror. The only complaints are that the power cord is shorter than desirable and it doesn't bend 90 degrees on a flat surface due to the rigidity of the ribbon - resulting in some curved edges sticking out from the surface of the mirror - which isn't really a big deal
