works great
i've kept mine clean over the years; but always used dishwasher soap (recommended by manufacturer). i bought this and have been pleased. it's easy to use. and after 15 minutes i could see the dirt and grime it cleaned out of unit. i'll be using this for my whirlpool from now on.

Very effective!
We moved into our place 2 years ago and I have still not used the jacuzzi tub in our master bath. Not knowing exactly how much use it got from former owners and tenants, and knowing it was going to need a cleaning I never had a desire to. Well I’m pregnant and so uncomfortable these days that I finally broke down and bought a cleaner. Wow! This stuff is amazing! I was shocked by the grime and buildup that this cleaner pulled out of our jets. It has a minor hot tub chemical smell to it so I had to just turn it on, let it run with the fan on and then come back in to drain and rinse/wipe down. I have run 5 cleaning cycles through the tub and it’s now running clear and clean. I still have plenty of solution left for several monthly cleanings. Highly recommend this effective solution! I should have take. A before and after! You’d be amazed too!

Good But Follow Instructions
This is a good product, but using more than the 2 ounce suggestion will overflow your tub with mountains of suds! A 20 minute flush of the system took 90 minutes. Run the jets for 30 seconds, remove building suds, repeat. Suppose to run the jets for 15 minutes, but I used more than 2 ounces thinking more is better. 4 ounces was way, way too much. Clean up of the flushed tub gunk made me happy I bought the product.

Didn't realize how much we needed this
We have purchased our 3rd bottle over a couple of years. This is really amazing. All of the pictures in the reviews are very similar to what we found as well, and we thought the tub was clean! I'll keep buying and will begin using for maintenance as well, rather than just when it's noticeably needed. Be careful about how much you use-- too much causes a lot of bubbles, which means you have to keep turning the jets on and off to avoid overflow. User error (4-ish OZ is too much).

Worked Great!
My new place has a jet tub. Have never cleaned one before. Followed the directions and it worked like a charm. All this gut came out. It is 99.9% fragrance free, which I appreciated. I turned the aerator off during the cleaning, after reading reviews, and had NO issues with overflowing bubbles.

smaller size than listed
I've used this product before with good results. while there was no size listed in the main description under product details it was listed as 1 gallon. the package I received was 1 quart.

This is the stuff that works! And it's the lowest price-per-dose too
This product was the best of seven jetted tub cleaners I bought on Amazon! It got rid of the filthy, slimy "biofilm" that had accumulated in the pipes and jets and plumbing of our tub. Three of the seven cleaning products worked well: this one, and "Oh Yuck", and "Ahh Some" , while four others did not remove any significant amounts of sludge at all. But this one, "Tub Jet Clean", is by far the least expensive! It contains eight doses in an $18.50 bottle. The other two products that worked, give you (a) four doses for $15, or (b) eight doses for $30. Spend wisely and buy this one. When you decide to really clean out your jetted bath and get rid of sludge & slime the first time, beware: it may take more than one application. To get ours 100% squeaky clean, with absolutely no trace of filmy ring around the tub after cleaning, required three complete cleaning cycles (thus three doses of cleaner product). We ran four, just to be absolutely and totally certain. Now that the slime is gone, we perform a maintenance cleanout with one dose of Tub Jet Clean, every few weeks.

If I could give 100 stars I would
When we moved in the precious ownsers told us they never used the jetted tub part of the walk in tub. The jets looked gross from the outside and based on the reviews I bought this. I am so glad I did! You will totally be grossed out by what comes out (proably less grossed out if you are the only rub owner) we ran about 3 or 4 cycles of the cleaner just because it had never been cleaned since it was installed per the owners several years ago and there was still crap coming out.The water was running waymore clear but we are going to finish up in the morning as it was getting late. We have a walk in tub so it took a little more than 2 oz and a bit of water so we would have to wait untill it filled a drained which took a while but overall this was the most convenient and easy way to tackle this mess
