Was not expecting it to work that good.
Tested on Sony FX30 body. Did not update the 7Artisans adapter. Straight out of the box.Tested with Canon, Sigma, and Rokinon glass. All EF mount.Worked perfectly with everything Canon. (70-200mm; 18-135mm; 24mm; 50mm; 18-55mm)Worked with the Rokinon as well. However my Rokinon is a Cine lens, so it doesn't come with AF.That worked as well as it does on my Canon R6m2.However, the Sigma 35mm 1.4 DG - Auto focus does not work. It breathes constantly. It seems confused on what to do. So only manual will work.Hope this helps someone else.

Sigma 18-35mm on a Sony FX30
I desperately wanted this to work. I love the Sigma 18-35mm lens. Though the lens fits and might work for photography, it's just not working for video. It continually tries to focus but does not stay focused. I tried upgrading the adaptor, but the 7Artisans website does not have any available for download.

Seems to work perfectly with Canon lenses and with about 75% of my manually adapted lenses
I shoot mostly on older canon DSLRs - 5DSR and 5DIII (with ML).I wanted to get an adapter which would allow me to use all my existing (formerly expensive) canon lenses with a new Sony mirrorless body I picked up for testing. I really like the Sony implementation of focus peaking, so this new A7RIII is really well suited to using with older MF lenses such as Pentax Super Takumars and Voigtlanders etc. After testing I can confirm that all of the native Canon EF lenses I tried it with worked perfectly - including, but not limited to: 16-33mm f/2.8 III, 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II, 85mm f/1.2.Manual lenses were a little more hit and miss, but still decent. I will update this with examples of manual lenses once I get the camera back from monochrome conversion!

The video able to do auto focus with zoom lens!!! SUPER! But the auto focus is loud
I am super excited to finally find this Adapter able to do autofocus for video, even in zoom lens. The product is not perfect, but iI would say the best i can find in the market so far.Camera: Sony 7 IVLens: Canon 18mm-135mm, F3.5I am super happy the tracking and auto focus is working in this adapter, even I do the max zoom, the focus is a little bit slower, but once it's focus it really track, even I zoom in and out, the focus still there!I really can't find othe adapter for zoom and video able to auto focus. So happy find this anyway.lens: Canon 50mm F1.8Able to do auto focus too, but the adapter would make constant noise, I mean the sound. If you are professional, you have to either put music over your video or use mic because the noise really captures the noise sound while you recording.Important fact.If you are switching between lenses, you have to unattached the adapter all the way and contact again in order to make your camera understand the new lens being attached. Normally, you just need to switch lens, but this one, you need to unattach the adapter. In my case, I swtich from F.3.5 len to F1.8 lens. If I just switch directly to F1.8 lens, the camera would not able to dial to F1.8 setting, only stuck in F3.5 setting. This is not the best adapter, but it is the best so far I can find in the makert so far. I was able to give up because I see so many reviews when people said there is no adapter for the video auto focus. This one does!Hope this help people also searching the same things as I do.

Saved me so much money
I can't tell you how many dollars this saved me. I have a Canon with many lenses because they were always so much more affordable and had great options. My Sony a6000 only has the one that came with it and I'm hesitant to buy any more due to the costs. With this adapter I was able to use all my Canon glass and auto focus works really well. There were a few occasions where it struggled to focus quickly but flipping it to manual focus and back, typically corrected the issue.

Works, but autofocus support is spotty.
It works well for transmitting lens data and setting aperture. However autofocus doesnt work with my Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM. I have tried updating and downgrading the firmware to each version, but it still didnt work. If you are considering this, be certain that your exact lens model is on the support list, or you might not have autofocus - even if it seems similar to a supported lens. I tried emailing 7Artisans for support, however they haven't responded to me. I will change my review when they contact me to fix this issue.

It works fine
This adapter works fine. Just follow the instructions! Lens to adapter, then adapter to camera mount. I’ve used the Canon ecosystem for a long time but I was curious about Sony’s performance. This adapter has allowed me to use my Canon lenses on my Sony body with ease! I’m sure native lenses probably work even better on the Sony body, but that’s not the point. I got this for a specific reason and it’s getting the job done.

Auto-focus does not work reliably and very slow
1) Auto-focus does not work reliably and very slow 2) there is no way to update the firmware despite there is an USB slot
