This appears to be a decent product and was quiet as described...until the dremel-style bit came into contact with my dogs nail. At that point it became very loud and scared him to the point of growling and snapping at me (he is a rescue with a traumatic past). It sounds odd but this kit came with a standard pair of clippers as well and he tolerated them better because he could smell them, they made no noise and did nothing until I decided to compress them. At that point he didn't like them either but the clipping (at least for that nail) was over. He was still shaking by the time we stopped and I was only able to finish two paws, but it was much better than the grinder. I hope your dog can tolerate this grinder but be aware of the noise it will make and the effect it may have on your dog.

It's been a few months since I've used this as I didn't want to write a review while my dog was still a little unsure of it.But after some training, I can honestly say that I enjoy this product far more than I thought I would. I am always skeptical on buying clippers because my previous ones are a little weak, so having clippers come in a pack that were durable enough to clip my dog's nails was a very nice surprise.Everything is easy to use, the grinder has several modes and it holds a LOT of battery charge to it. I only charged it once in the several months of use and its still going strong so far. I haven't yet had to change the grinding nub and it does a very good job on getting my dogs nails down to a length I like.The only suggestion, which isn't even a concern, is having some kind of guard on the grinder that could trap the dust without hindering the way an individual has to grind their dog's nails.Overall, I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to others.

Wir haben zwei italienische Windspiele, regelmäßig Krallen schneiden ist hier Pflichtprogramm.Mit diesem Schleifer geht das super- er ist leise, leicht, handlich und perfekt für kleine Hundekrallen geeignet. Ob es auch für größere/ stabilere Krallen funktioniert kann ich allerdings leider nicht sagen (unsere Mäuse wiegen knapp 5 Kilo).

Ich habe den Krallenschleifer für unsere Hündin gekauft, da ich mich nicht getraut habe die schwarzen Krallen mit der Zange zu kürzen. Schon nach ein paar Minuten hat sich mein Hund an das Geräusch gewöhnt und ich konnte schon auf niedriger Stufe die Krallen leicht kürzen. Mittlerweile hat sie damit überhaupt keine Probleme mehr und lässt sich problemlos die Kralle kürzen. Zu der mitgelieferten Zange kann ich leider nichts sagen, da wir diese nicht ausprobiert haben aber der Schleifer ist top.

The fact that this product comes with the nail clippers is a great value for money. I bought the dual package. Nail clipper is as expected, sturdy and good size for medium to large dog size. The grinder comes with a spare, has a protective shield (though can be removed and used without), and is soft enough in sound to not scare my husky x GSD mix. It charges fast and doesn't drain the battery to quick (have not even had to charge it yet after couple uses on different dogs) even if you use the added light function. All round great product and would recommend for dog lovers alike.
