Worked great in my application
My old well pump died last week - I grabbed this one for a couple hundred bucks instead of the 3-6 times higher priced Gould pump. Installation was pretty straightforward, took under two hours.Overall, I'm pumped; it was pretty cheap, not hard to install, and is working great.A couple of things to note:- The instructions don't reference anything about the control box; however, the contacts are all marked as are the wires on the pump. Just plug the wire into the appropriately labeled terminals, connect the output from the pressure switch, and you should be fine.- my old pump had a 1" NPT threaded connector, the Vevor pump had 1.25" NPT threaded connector, so a trip to the hardware store was needed.- my well is ~100 feet deep, and the feed line is ~33 feet, so if you're deeper than 33 feet be aware you'll need some of the existing wiring (and a splice) to get power to the pump.- The mounting box has no mounting holes through it - you'll need to drill a couple holes to hang it up.

Huge waste of money and an enormous night mare.
This is the worst pump we have ever used. We have had nothing but problems from the time we lowered it into the well. Please do yourself a favor and get a different pump. I can't say that it is the brand because this is the only item we have purchased from this manufacturer, but I can say that this pump has been a nigh mare for my family. It has been less than 2 months since we installed it and we have been able to have the water on for less than 1 accumulated week. At one point we had it on for a full day so we thought that we had figured out what was going on. Nope, the next morning it stopped mid shower and hasn't been working since. I will definitely be returning this item.

Great Agricultural Irrigation pump from Spring lake fed overflow
I put this pump into service today as agricultural irrigation pump from a 50 gallon oil drum being fed from the overflow from a spring fed pond. It's initial suction lift from the tank was 10 feet to a pressure tank with a 20/40 LB pressure switch supplying power to the pump. From the pressure tank the pump pushed water on an uphill rise of 50 ft. where I installed another pressure tank and gauge. The pump was capable of supplying 5 gallons per minute of irrigation water at a 30-40LB pressure at the second pressure tank. I have no doubt it would have been higher pressure if I changed the pressure switch setting at the lower pressure tank. The pump exceeded my expectations.

A beast of a pump!!
I installed this pump, with some problems in related to the pump. This pump once I got it into the water with 1 1/4” pipe attached is a powerful beast. From 50’ the water pressure forcibly pushed my hand out of the way. I’m very pleased so far and have plans to purchase an additional one when I activate my third well to expand the pond.
