All you need to get an A
got this book, self taught myself whilst doing my A levels. What a book, I already love Computer Science and Software Engineering. So this book was a pleasure to read, literally. Did my exams, and got an A thankfully. and know for sure that you can get an A* if you read it earlier than me. And make sure to do pass papers, so that you know what topics you need to go back on and improve... just re-read and do more pass papers. Loved the book, no flaws, and love this course and Cambridge IGCSE system for being my backup cuz I couldn't take a normal Computer Science GCSE in my college (they don't teach it)

Terrible book, borderline incoherent at times
The biggest problem is the exam-style questions, which have no answers or marking scheme included, leaving you wondering what you're supposed to even think when reading some of the more poorly written questions. Reading this just leaves you angry and distraught, how has our education system produced something of such poor quality? It beggars belief.

Not detiled and Arrived in poor condition
The book itself is lacking detail. One of the pages is ripped and the texts are crammed to the point where it's impossible to read.

Many errors - should be much better
S.Bjork's review says it all. It's got errors that smack of carelessness and a rushed proofread. Some things are not explained, they are bluffed. It's a shame, because it's laid out well and should be a good book. Desperately needs a second edition.

Two Stars
Unfortunately, there are many errors throughout the book which has made the process of learning the subject much harder as it has caused a lot of confusion. There are numerous typographical errors on top of the factual ones.

One to avoid. Perhaps look online until a new version comes out.
Clearly rushed to production. Missing complete sections (e.g. page jump from 154 to 187), numerous errors. Avoid.
