I really like the quality of these, they feel like fairly strong plastic. I bought one a couple of years ago and it is still working, so I would say it's quite durable. The connectors have a rubber seal which help prevent leaks and I've not had an issue, especially when using PTFE tape before screwing them on.It also has another connector at each end so that in theory you could daisy-chain these together and allows you to swap between the supply coming in from the left or coming in from the right.I connect mine to some Sonoff SWV (Smart Water Valves) so that I can automate all of the watering of the plants and the grass.I would recommend bringing it in over winter though to increase its lifespan and especially so that water doesn't freeze in it. You can take it off easily because you fix the bracket with a hook on it to a wall (or in my case a small post) and then you just slot the 4-way connector into the hook.The individual taps allow you to either fully open or partially open the value for each tap, which can be quite useful for irrigation systems where you might not want the full pressure.I wouldn't say that it's particularly cheap, but I've bought cheaper ones before and you just end up buying more of them in the same time period.

we had this for 7 years now and the valves open and close reliably.we alsways left it connected, and now is has started to leak and a fine spray of water escapes from the back side of the unit (main body consists of two parts..It had a good run and given the prive we paid, I am happy.

I bought this item to replace a Y type splitter that constantly kept leaking. This product is robust and well made, easy to use and no leaks thus far. Gives the ability for me to use front and back watering hoses and is also fairly compact and discreet. A little pricey for a piece of plastic but if it lasts then no worries.

Very easy to fit and no leaks at all !!I have to hose end as well, make sure you get genuine Hozelok imitations are a waste of money.

Fits our tap and (same brand)hosepipe perfectly. Taps on the unit are small, so a little fiddly to use, otherwise it is perfect for what we needed.

Saves a lot of time changing the hose pipe.

Bought this on16 June and worked OK but then the tap connector split and is now not usable! Will have to get a new brass fitting. Would have expected to get a bit longer than a few weeks use before tap connector failing!
