The fireplace is well designed, stylish, heater quiet and doesn’t blow you out of the room

I use this mainly for the ambiance, and it is beautiful! I don’t use the heater much. Something I will say about the heater is that I wish there was a separate on/off from the temperature setting. With the current setup, you must have the door open to see what the temperature is set at, and then cycle through to turn it off. It kind of defeats the purpose of having the adjustment on the remote if you have to get up and open the door so you can see the change you are making to the temperature or when you have cycled around to “off”. I would have given 4 1/2 stars overall if there were the option to do so.

Good design

I wanted a small heater to take the chill off on chilly Florida Panhandle mornings. I looked at many reviews and brands. Settled for Country Living mainly because it was supposedly easy to put together. Well… IT IS! Literally… take it out of the box, screw on the 4 legs and door handle and you’re done! The logs and flames look realistic. It heats the room comfortably. I like the features. My only complaint, as others have said, is the remote. It doesn’t have a display, just buttons. So you have to go to the stove, open the door to see what selections you are on. I guess once you have it set where you want it, the remote is good for just turning on and off. I wish it was taller. All in all, very satisfied with my purchase.

This heater fills a space in my living room and makes a lifelike flame to add a comfortable aura. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but I quickly got used to the size. The heater works well, although i don't need the heat as much as I just like the ambiance of having a "fire". It makes the room cozy as I watch TV or read a book. So, I turn it on for the ambiance and usually leave the heat off.

This is a hard working machine. It definitely gets the job done hearing a large space. That was most important to me. The remote and controls feel cheap. You can’t turn the thermostat down with remote, only up, and you can’t see the setting. Fireplace definitely looks fake. Pretty sad looking actually. A little more thought into aesthetics and durability of material would make this an A+ electric fireplace.

Easy to assembly and put out a good amount of heat. Flame function on remote didn't work right out of the box. Tried troubleshooting with no success. Log embers looked good. I did like it enough to request an exchange. I saw overall rating were good on this product and the same on other sites so I think I just got a bad remote. Will get the replacement shortly. I'll try to update the review then. It was also a very nice looking unit. Not "cheesy" at all in my opinion.

Very happy with this purchase. The unit was easy to assemble. It is sturdy. It is beautiful when it is on at night. It keeps my large living room nice and cozy. Only complaint is it is loud, but that probably can't be helped.
