Great way to grow tomatoes!
Started tomatoes in solo cups, when they outgrew those, I transferred to these and kept adding dirt. When they outgrew these it was time to plant outside. This saved my tomatoes and they are doing great!

chemical smell and plastic is a soft material which wont stand on its own
The material is not a stiff plastic as many 4" seedlings pots, it is soft and rubbery. The image shows how they arrived, folded into one another like a soft fabric. Because of the folding the bottoms are distorted, the pots will not stand on their own (granted, I did not fill the pot with potting mix to see if that would help but I doubt it). I took out one and noticed a strong chemical odor. Not good for organic seedlings. I was hoping that they would arrive as a stiff plastic, much like "Jiffy Pots", which retain their shape when you pull them apart. They feel like miniature fabric grow bags with some type of elastic coating.... I suppose they would work if I had a tray that could support them, but even so, the chemical odor is a deal breaker for me.

Flimsy!
My goodness! These are so thin, you can almost see through them. I was concerned that I had only a partial order, because they were all crammed together. The edges are so thin, they look frayed. Another con is that when they're filled, they don't have the square shape that makes them easy to stack in a bin. There are holes about 2" from the bottom and 3 holes on the bottom. All in all, I would not buy again.

You get what you pay for
These are all still in tact upon arrival, the quality is very very thin and cheap. I wouldn't use these to ship a plant in but they are enough for at home use. They do have a very funny chemical smell to them. They are very thin and very cheap quality. Depending on your use, I would recommend these.

More like bags than pots
Didn't end up using them / do not recommend. I wasn't expecting too much at this price, but they didn't meet even my low-ish expectations. These are not pots. They are a cross between a contractor bag and the thinnest nursery pots you have ever felt. They do not stand up on their own and they do not hold their shape. The top bulges out into a bulbous round shape when soil is added, so they take up a lot more room than I'd anticipated and do not fit neatly in a tray. The majority of the soil is concentrated at the top, which is a waste of soil and space. They are not breathable or biodegradable like many plant bags. They had a strong chemical smell when I purchased them. If you consider them as extremely sturdy bags instead of pots, you might like them well enough.

very pleased with these now that I have used them
Initially, when I received these, I was a little skeptical. They arrived all crammed together in a relatively small package and looking a little like wilted lettuce. My initial attraction to these had been the depth and width of the container that would allow me more root space for my annuals as they grew. Upon using them I was very pleased with the durability of what appeared to be a very thin and flexible rubber? plastic? like material. It's strong! I put a coffee filter in the bottom with the handful of soil and filled it from there and it hasn't given me a moments trouble since. I am quite pleased. More root space for my babies equals a better growing season for me. And these are very reasonable in price. Thumbs up from me.
