My White Queen has a crack at the top. The set itself is beautiful. Check all pieces upon receipt. It's a beautiful set otherwise. Will have it replace. Disappointed, otherwise good quality! Item was replaced. The replacement set shows not obvious defects. The set is taller than my other sets, not thicker. So it fits on a 2"x2" square. The finishing the die and gloss is alright, for the price it's a great set. Ordered a second set as it doesn't come with two queens and extra queens equals the additional set. It would look amazingly in my 21" board, had not received yet. Recommended, just check the pieces individually.

My family loves playing chess. These pieces were not too heavy but easy to use. The chess square were 2x2 and fairly large. I was looking for something that was nice looking and worth the money. I would recommend this product. Everything came shipped as promised without any broken parts or missing parts.

The weight, appearance, & quality of each piece, you can see and feel. I just made a maple & peruvian walnut chess board about 2ft x 2ft for my son's 25th birthday. And these large chess pieces had felt on the bottoms and came in 2 bags for the light & dark pieces. Everything turned out very nice !

just opened the package and pleasantly satisfied. nice large pieces easy to move, look great, well finished with mild gloss. Quite nice. Good sets are generally quite pricey. Cheap ones lack any good detail and resemble building blocks esp the knight. This set is distinctive and on first sight, a class product. Sit down with this set and you will look like somebody, even if youre not. I just like looking at this set. makes me happy.

Las piezas de ajedrez de Vamslove tienen un elegante diseño y un tamaño mayor de 4.5" que destacan más que otros modelos de piezas en el mercado. El diseño Staunton bien elaborado de las piezas no solo sirven para jugar en un tablero de ajedrez. Estas elegantes piezas también adornan bellamente cualquier espacio desde donde se les miren. Sin dudas un excelente set digno de un buen tablero. Me decanté por ellas por su tamaño y diseño. Solo hay tres cosas que deberían mejorar y son: el peso de las piezas que se sienten muy livianas. Parecieran que el viento las fuera a tirar. El color de algunas piezas vienen un poco más oscuro que otras. El diámetro de la base de las piezas deberían ser un poco más ancho. De resto todo perfecto. Recomendadas al 100% si no te importa el peso de las piezas. Llegaron en perfectas condiciones el día estipulado.

We liked the quality and craftsmanship of these pieces. Well made and appears to have longevity. A great addition for the chess lover in you. Definitely worth the money and they come in these pouches for easy storage.
