the idea of a fantastic whole trailer fan, without the fantastic install depth
We've had whole house RV fans for years, of various brands. The kick was they were already installed so I never had to cut the old vent off the roof, re-caulk and go though the mess. I found this kit and thought, well, it's cheaper and the concept is the same. Install took about 25 minutes with just simple tools. In and Out settings, pretty comparable noise on high as the big name ones. It was so easy though to install. Instructions were reasonably simple, but on point. I couldn't be more excited that it was cheaper and easy to install. I did a video on it and put it on the tube. well worth the money, quality seems very good, instructions on point and as soon as I turned it on, I could feel the draw through the trailer. We only had one vent, in the bathroom and it was pulling great air on low. If you have a ventline or the other brand, this will fit. as for the wiring, they say in the ad that one way gives you a few more settings. I just ran the red to the black and white to white. Well worth the money, grab it and shazam you have a whole house fan. Well done to the seller and manufacturer for the well thought out fan to work without any drilling and simple tools. Price, can't be beat and you can re-use the original vent cover, no caulk or cutting or crazy removal. Love it.

What a great upgrade to the old âmini-fan.â
This was a replacement for the growling, roaring, fan blade throwing beast in the bathroom of my 1999 Fleetwood Southwind 32v. The instructions are not so clear but able to install with no problems. For those that purchase this item⌠The blue plugs go in the door setting screw/handle holes not being used.It was a direct replacement and a full upgrade. Due to my old fans age, the assembly was very yellowed. This operates, looks, and has so much better air flow.If your old fan is half as bad as mine was, get this. The install was very easy and is a serious upgrade (air in or out flow).

Perfect Fit for older RV
As other have stated, the directions are very vague and you have to kinda figure things out yourself. Once you get the steps figured out its pretty straight forward. I used this in my 93 Sunline RV that is used off grid so I run on a battery source only. On High this fan is only pulling 17-18 Watts...not bad. Noise is not terrible, I sleep with a fan on anyway so I like it. This is a huge upgrade from the little 4 inch fan in the corner of the screen I had before. My hope for this fan is its ability to suck fresh air into the camper when I open it up (its a camp) and get the moisture and musty smell out quickly. It seems to work pretty well....if it does I may get another one for another vent. Its nice to only have to remove the interior part of the vent to install this, no climbing up on the roof to do anything. I'm giving 4 stars due to the directions being vague, adding to confusion during install.

Instructions are pretty iffy, electronics subject to water damage, will see.
Inexpensive upgrade from original fan. Good airflow on high although noisy.Resonable airflow on medium much quiter than original fan. A little airflow on low very quiet. Installation is easy if you're pretty handy, if you depend on explicit instructions you will be frustrated. I'm a little concerned that the back of the control panel will be subject to water from rain; even with a hood on, splashing water can wet the panel.

New Upgraded Vent Fan!
Installed pretty quick once i changed the crank alinement and it works well so far. I like the large clear fan blades. I cant wait to use it on our next trip.

How to remove the screen? look at the last 2 picture (figure 1 &2)
The media could not be loaded. Oh there is a ton of stuff all over my floor because I had to remove the fan to get at the screen. Rotating the screen DOES NOTHING. There are 6 tabs. The slots the tabs fit in have no hole to make pulling the screen off. It is a REALLY goofy design. Im also lowering my review from a 5 to a 3. It is losing a star because the removable screen really isnt. You have to pull against the the tabs and it feels like you are going to break them. Eventually you will. That is just this design. The only thing I can think of is to do this.before installing the fan in the ceiling. take the screen off. take it off by pushing the tabs from the outside in the area of the fan you would never get to when it is installed. push in slightly like 4-5 of them and it comes loose. then take the fan blade off. What you are going to see is a hole (FIGURE 1) it has no cuts in it. What you need to do to EVERY hole is cut a groove in it half way across the hole (FIGURE 2) Then when you snap the fan in you can rotate it and remove the screen. I think it will hold I cannot see it rotating on its own. It is in there pretty good even after cutting your holes. Make sure they are all half the hole and on the SAME side. That is all I did. Now I can remove the fan without fear of breaking those cheap plastic tabs.My 2022 KZ sportsmen has 2 vents. NEITHER have a fan in them. IT doesnt even have the bracket so you can Add a fan. I think the best way to get heat out of a camper is to have a fan which blows heat out. Anyhow this installed easy in my KZ camper. I had to find power. Which was right near the fan. There were two sets of wires. One was for the light near the vent (That is switched power) I wanted constant 12v. That was the brown wire right next to the pair with yellow on it. I found this by dropping the light out of the ceiling and seeing that one was Yellow. The other light in the bathroom was Brown. Anyhow spliced into that line. Wirenutted this fan in. Slid it back into place and put the trim ring back on. It is a fan. It is bigger than the cheap little fan. Blowing in or out. I dont feel a huge breeze coming through the window. That might be because I have vent covers on the outside of the camper. I am not entirely sure. It moves some air however. I saw a 2 degree difference in 10 minutes when I ran the fan on high yesterday. So it is doing something it just isnt creating a massive breeze. I like it. I will probably buy another.
