Awesome and strong saw, especially being battery powered. Definitely need an additional battery if you are out cutting for 3+ hours. The battery takes a long time to charge.

The "renewed" chain saw arrived looking brand new. It works perfectly. I'd never had a battery-powered chain saw before, so I wasn't sure if it would be adequate. I can say that, at least for the typical yard / homeowner, this thing is more than adequate. My only nit to pick is that it is heavy, at least for a saw with an 18" bar.

Awesome power and battery life. Great for small cutting jobs when you don’t want to bring out the bi gas chainsaw.

Traded in my Milwaukee M18 fuel chainsaw with the big 12 MaH batteries for this refurb set. I was blown away at how much more power it has than the M18, even running the EGO stock batteries it was stronger than the M18 with the strongest m18 batteries available. At first I thought it was because the bigger bar but nope- it made more cuts on bigger logs and the battery lasted me an entire shift. It has held up great across felling 3 trees and multiple branches- I think I have about a solid 20 hours on it.I really like the auto chain tensioner and the light is very helpful when clearing brush after sundown. Some folks don't know the flashlight has 2 brightness settings.I am bow shopping more of the EGO lineup.To be honest this saw may have too much power for the average homeowner. You won't encounter too many things you can't cut. I was cutting up to10inch diameter branches and plan to take down a big ol Cottonwood tree and the trunk of the oak who's 10 inch branches I was trimming back. I proudly pulled this out alongside my buddy's gas powered Stihl and made short work of a mutual friends fallen tree. I expected some ribbing but nope my Stihl buddy had compliments for the saw and said he had good experience with them in the past. That definitely bolstered my confidence in the purchase!Now I have a juiced up saw I am also venturing into some chainsaw carving- like I said- its more power than the average homeowner will ever require which makes me happy.

I have multiple Ego products from their lineup and continue to be impressed. This chainsaw is equally impressive with its power. So quiet to operate so much better than gas. Works great and the battery lasts a long time. I bought a tool to sharpen the chains but haven’t used it yet because I found out how cheaply I could buy replacement offbrand chains that work well

This is the reason why I only give this 3 stars, Really haven’t had the chance to work with it on a large job, works very well around the house!Will let you know how it works out on a large project!….
