Perfect addition to counter
I really enjoy this little turtle. It came packed extremely well so I wouldn't worry about breakage. The colors are better than pictured and is a perfect match to the rest of my blue coastal themed counter. The base and dowel holding paper is nice wood tone but not as heavy and strong as I thought it would be. It is my favorite accessory on my counter .It serves it's purpose just fine just don't go ripping any towels from holder without holding on to it. This little guy should, hopefully, last years as I really like him.

Cute beachy themed paper towel holder
I purchased this for the esthetic of the turtle to be honest. So it was definitely a splurge because I could have gotten another less expensive yet highly functional paper towel holder but that's not what I was going for.My kitchen and living room are beach themed, and I have turtle sticker decals on my walls. So, this paper towel holder definitely matches my existing décor.

Nice but….
Turtle is nice, the wood could be upgraded, the MAIN ISSUE is the turtle is close in so you can only use single size paper towels which actually is hard to find, jumbo sized like double or triples won’t fit and that size is now standard in grocery stores. They need to make the base wider.

Not for big rolls
Love the design and quality but I guess I didn’t read into verifying if it’s meant to hold large rolls of paper towels because it doesn’t…at least with the turtle on so I had to leave it off for it to actually be useful. So while it’s a quality product, I’m not giving this a 5-star because it doesn’t hold all sizes of paper towels. Bummer cause I really like the turtle too.

Very pretty and doesn't look cheap
Looks great and works really well. Only thing I would mention is if you use oversized rolls (like thr ones from costco) the 1st 10 pieces or so are a little hard to get out. Other than that it's great!
