Good for strapping a kennel into the back of a car for a road trip
We just returned from a 3K mile road trip, where I strapped/unstrapped our dog kennel in our car several times a day using these. Solid, easy to use -- once you get a handle on how to use them, you'll probably never go back: a press of the button and all slack is gone. And very good quality: these have worked flawlessly after a good 50 or so uses. Worth every penny.

Great addition for quick tiedown
Have you used something similar about 15 years ago. I put these in my truck for a quick tied down. These work in a pinch. They work like a seatbelt until they get tight and then you ratchet them down.They don’t take up much space because you don’t have the nylon wrapped in a circle and the ratchet off to the side. This is all one piece and it makes ratcheting down items quick and easy.

These straps work great and very easy to use. However, I do have one that will not retract and I’m having problems getting in touch with vendor to repair or replace.
