You can tell these beads are good quality because compared to the plastic beads these have more weight to them. They make the bracelets feel more real and less like a cheap craft. I've gotten more acrylic beads for less $, but these really feel more expensive and you get a pretty good amount of them. Could easily make 12 bracelets with just the big beads alone!

These beads are all glass, not a single plastic in the bunch. Their textures range from clear, pearlized, crackle,iridescence, and more. Colors range from deep aqua to light sea foam green. The fish and starfish beads are adorable and well made. The seed beads are a nice bonus matching the colors of the larger beads. They arrived in perfect condition in a handy clear case and two small zip top bags. You need these for your bead cache.

This is a nice assortment of beads and was available in a choice of color families. It comes basically like in the picture with all the beads mixed in one box. The small seed beads, however, come all together in a separate cellophane envelope. The larger beads are easy enough to separate for easier use, but the seed beads are not. The seed beads are quite small yet sent in several different sizes. If you are using these at random that is no big deal, but if you need to use them by size, it is nearly impossible to separate them all by eye. It would be much better if those were sent separated by size, so they could be used that way. That is the reason for the one star deduction. If you plan to use the small beads randomly, though, then you should be fine with the way they are shipped. I'll recommend them with that precautionary note for consideration.

You count those tiny tiny beads? I wish there were more of the larger beads. They are so nice. The tiny beads make you think there are more than they are.

Be aware there's only 10 each of fish and starfish beads. Not a bad collection overall, just needs to be separated. Also, picture shows some tube-shaped beads - assortment I received had none of this type.

I ordered this set for my teenage daughter who loves to make jewelry. I would have expected her to choose one of the brighter, more colorful sets, but she was really drawn to the neutral, metallic variety in the grey assortment. For being neutral, it has a great variety of tones, finishes, and depth. Very pretty!The fish and starfish beads are adorable. The round beads that make up the rest of the set have a nice variety - some textured, some very glossy, some matte, some pearly, some iridescent, in several different shades from very light to very dark. I really appreciate that the tiny seed beads are packaged in a separate plastic baggie, since they're very small. The seed beads have an excellent variety of subtle, rich colors in them, which will add a lot of depth to the finished projects.The beads come packaged in a plastic case that's about the size of a smart phone, but a little thicker. It's HEAVY for it's size - these are not flimsy, lightweight plastic beads. There's some weight to them. Overall, this is a great set that's an excellent value for the price.
