Bright ambient light, bright yellow and lemons have definitely emerged as a theme in our kitchen. This is my go-to spoon rest during kitchen escapades. I really appreciate the porcelain material it is made of and super bright lemony picture that is part of it. I am not expecting that picture to wear off at all. It is under the glaze and well protected. The extra long 'channel' for the spoon handle is appreciated. It will certainly protect countertop surfaces from any food drops that might be on the handle. Larger cooking spoons easily fit on it. It does go through the dishwasher (top rack) with no problems.
