Great for removing adhesive
The acetone did a great job of removing the adhesive left behind on stainless steel from when I removed a sign glued to it. Did a great job.

Gets rid of nail polish fast

Good but slightly overpriced
When I am cleaning something (think old stickers off a toy or bike frame), I use an ascending order of increasingly strong cleansers and also consider the chemistry of the substance I am cleaning (if it is hydrophilic, then water or alcohol is best, if lipid, then petroleum based). My order is roughly water first -> alcohol -> mineral spirits/kerosene -> paint thinner -> acetone -> gasoline. Beware though that unlike gasoline (highly volatile and flammable), acetone can remove paint as well (along with being highly flammable).Why the four stars? Because you can go to your local supermarket and get nail polish remover (which is more than 95% acetone) for a good deal less. However, if you need pure 100% acetone, this stuff is it. Except for the price, this product is pure acetone and works well. Four stars!
