Agree with poor quality heat gun
I was hoping the issue with the heat gun mentioned in previous reviews would have been addressed. I just received my package Sunday (yesterday) and took out the box today to inspect and try out the machine. The sealer works well so far but when I plugged in the heat gun, 1st, it was already on the on position. I turned off. Then when I did a practice run on an object to seal, the heat gun would not turn back on and the button now will not move in any direction. It appears to be broken. Inconvenience is having to purchase a separate gun to complete this set.

This order was delivered without the shrink wrap film, even though the item was advertised with the roll of film. I must have the film sent immediately.

good machine but no instructions
I left this in the box because I wasn't sure how to use it. I watched videos for other similar machines. I use the middle setting or a little hotter to melt the plastic. I lay my item in the crease, bring down the heating arm while pulling gently on the edge of the plastic. As it pulls away, I know it is sufficiently sealed. I then use the heat gun. Sometimes it is full of air (can cause a hole in the plastic) so I try to squeeze out air when sealing the package. I use a medium heat on the gun and slowly go around the edges and then the top and bottom. Happy with the purchase but wish I knew if I was doing it correctly or the best way.

Machine is 5-star.s The heat gun is ZERO stars. They should just offer it withOUT a heat gun. I have purchased two of these and both times we had to immediately throw the heat gun in the trash. It barely puts out any heat and would take forever to shrink-wrap a box. Also, it constantly overheats and beeps even if it is on low AND the controls on the back do NOTHING. The heat gun is garbage. The machine is awesome. If it came without a heat gun, I would give it 5 stars. You will need to buy a Dewalt heat gun or the Wagner Furno 750, if you want to get the best out of this machine.

This makes shrink wrapping so much easier !
I have it a 4 star bc the heat gun that came with it was not hot enough to shrink wrap quickly. So we replaced with it with a dewalt brand which works much quicker!
