Purchased this for my toddler. It's a great basic starter train set.

The plastic scenery wasn’t the best. My toddler did not care. The setup stays and we play trains every day. Wooden tracks are durable. Good value for your dollar because it comes with a storage box.

Wonderful toy and well worth the cost !

It would be nice if the pieces inside the box could actually make the track they have pictured on the outside of bin/tub. Also, what’s with the big empty cardboard box inside the bin/tub? Very disappointed. Will be returning and getting a different train set.

It's cute and perfect! I love that it's wood and comes in a bucket so we can tote it around.

The mountain lid is really nice for setting up a quick track and I absolutely love that the storage bin has space for additional track pieces to be added. We bought a long neck dinosaur hill along with it and it fits perfectly in the bin! Kiddo has been having a blast with this set and it's great for getting started.

The positive reviews are NOT for the wooden train set. The picture on the box does not represent even the basic configuration of the tracks (male/female ends are opposite of reality). There are not correct parts to build what’s on the front, and due to geometry practically no configurations are possible if you incorporate the mountain feature. Needs more parts or some reengineering. Toddler is mad every time he plays with it.
