I bought this for my mum and it works very well. Does what it’s supposed to do. Easy to set up and is nice and clear.

This is a godsend for my 94 year old father, whose near sight is extremely poor and is slightly deaf. He has been unable to read a normal or digital clock face for some time and is often confused by what time or day of the week it is. This is a very simple, easily set up ‘large red button’, the voice is clear and loud enough for him to understand. One press speaks the time and whether it is am or pm and two presses speaks the day and date. He was thrilled to bits to have something so simple that helps him feel less confused about the time of day. It is suggested that the AAA battery should be changed once a year! I cannot fault this item!

Bought for my 90 year old mother with very poor eyesight. She loves it and gets a certain comfort from the mans voice.

This talking clock is almost perfect for my 94 year old, almost blind and deaf mother. Should probably be 5 stars but I gave it 4 stars because, being deaf, she has to silence her television in order to hear the voice. A trivial niggle as the voice is clear. My mother is very happy with the product. It was easy to set up and great to have the batteries supplied.

My mother in law apart from being blind has a hearing impairment too therefore wears hearing aides she has little awareness of time so this clock is a lifesaver. It has a loud clear voice and as well as speaking the time is also announces the day and date and so easy to set up an excellent buy all round and so affordable would recommend this clock for sure

I enjoy this clock as it's simplicity it self, easy to set up, takes less than a minute, sounds silly but it's like having a friend in the flat with me as I live alone, an absolute must for the elderly and for people with visually impairment as I have and other dexterity problems, my apologies for any typing errors, Neil Bell

Bought as an extra 'talking clock' for my Mother who's sight is now almost gone completely. She has one she was given several years ago and that's in her bedroom but she also wanted one for the kitchen - handier than moving the one around. Works very well and very load (I changed it to the lower volume - still loud enough for me to hear clearly in the next room). She's very happy with it - and me too. I think she'd have trouble setting the time herself, but not a problem if someone can set it up for them.

Lost 20 minutes in the first 30 minutes.
