Bigger than you think...
The dimensions posted pertain to the INTERNAL space of the shelter. The full width/depth (including the base plates) is closer to 50 inches. This was great for our needs as it meant we could perfectly fit the VeeHoo XL dog bed (CWC2204, https://a.co/d/0drx5PTj) and it provides plenty of space for our 75lb Husky/Malamute-mix to enter, get on his raised bed, do the obligatory spins, and then relax in the shade.I wanted a shelter that could provide shade and accomodate a cooling-bed in the hot months, while also providing wind/snow protection once Winter returns. So far, I'm pleased with how easily this was to assemble, and how sturdy the frame seems (Two 19/32 plywood pieces cut to 30"x48" - connected with 3x strap hinges at the top, and 4x 1" pipe straps at the bottom edges - form the roof of the tiki hut. Probably could have gone with 11/32 but the 48" barely spans the distance front-to-back and I was worried the roof would bow/crack after adding the faux-thatch roofing).Biggest takeaway is that the footprint of this shelter is bigger than it seems when you're only measuring ~48"x48" on the floor. But it's the only shelter I could find with the removable front/back panels, and it fits the dog bed, so no complaints.I'll try to update if we encounter any issues in the coming year.

Nice shelter
Nice quality! Easy to assemble! I use it both over the dogs' sandbox and out over a cot (depending on what they're doing more of). It keeps things cooler and dryer underneath!

Nice little tent
This tent works perfect for the application I was looking for. Went together pretty good. I think if I was going to make any suggestions to the company making it, I would use Velcro straps instead of just tie down straps.

Well constructed! Perfect
I normally donāt write reviews; however, this product is worth writing about! It is well constructed and has a solid frame. I live in a condominium and I needed something for my dogs to go potty during bad weather. It fits on my patio and it does the job. I was concerned about it moving around, but once I unpacked the box - I realized my concerns were unfounded. Iām extremely happy. I can put it up in 20 minutes or less. Great buy! Looks great too!

Nice size
Gave this to my parents' for their beloved cat who needs shade during this hot summertime. The setup wasn't too bad. The fabric is nice and sturdy enough. The space is wide enough for my little kids to sit underneath there to play with the cat. Initially I bought this to shelter the kids little bikes and battery cars from the sun and rain, but the cat needs it more. Will probably buy another one to use.

Relatively easy to assemble but fabric not very durable
I bought an insulated doghouse but wanted more protection from the rain. This canopy was the perfect fit for the platform I had the doghouse sitting on. The main canopy was a good fit and was tight to the frame. The end cover was pretty loose and flapped in the wind. Unfortunately, the fabric is not very durable. It took the dog less than 2 days to rip it to shreds. If it had been a heavier woven type fabric like ballistic nylon or tarp like material, it more than likely would have survived. I would have been willing to pay more to get a stronger fabric. It would be a LOT more resistant to tears and weathering. I seriously doubt the fabric supplied would last more than a few months of exposure to the elements. So I kept the framework, mounted boards to the upper "A" frame with conduit clamps and mounted steel roofing panels to the boards. Problem solved! Chew on that, dog!

Difficult to assemble!
Directions appear simple but it took us about 3 hours to figure and wiggle everything! There are only 4 pins in the box and you really need 8 (2 for each corner). Durable cover, good value for money.
