I originally purchased these lamps for a camping trip, but now I'm using them in my home. I took these camping -- my mom and I wanted to do the glamping thing hard. We had nightstands for our cots, with these little gold lamps. Now, I'm using them on my coffee table and the kitchen, where cords would be impossible. Light on the coffee table! It's like a miracle.So the lamps come in three pieces, a base, a tube that makes the body of the lamp, and then a plastic lampshade-shaped light. It's a solid thing, not like a regular lamp shade. The pieces screw together easily. The on-off switch is a touch switch on top of the lamp. It cycles between types of light (warm, cool, etc).It charged in a few hours (I didn't time it sorry), and is still working even after the camping trip. The brightness is excellent. I could read by the light in my tent. Now it's useful to illuminate my coffee table, and looks cute doing it. I like the warm light for my tent, and the white light for my table.I think these are great and plan on buying more. Suddenly I'm seeing my house with new eyes, imagining being able to place lamps in places I'd never thought of, due to lack of outlets.I strongly recommend these lamps. I hope I've been helpful!

Works well with an easy touch control for different brightness. Battery life is a little short. With a full charge, the lights only lasted for one night's dinner party or 2 nights of family dinner. Color fits nicely for decorative tables.

I bought these in December. They were gorgeous and fit great in our home. Unfortunately they stopped working and won’t charge any longer after only 3 months. Waste of money.

Just a nice little low-level light for dim spots. Wish the charge was longer and have no idea how durable they will be but enjoying them for now.

Love these, but they definitely do not keep a charge for very long. You literally need to charge them right before you going to use them every time. They keep a charge for about four hours. Nothing more.
