I bought this for my 11yr son as a Christmas gift. Boat is solid with great value. Is fast and easy to control. You can regulate the speed and the trim. It comes with a spare propeller, nut and tool. Is very good quality. The motor is water cool!!! Great eantry level boat. We used in our backyard pond and controller range is very long and strong. No signal losses at all. Boat is design to never capside. If it happen you just reverse and forward and it will tip back to the correct position! It won't sink or get water inside. I'm thinking on buying another one for me. The only con is the battery. It last about 15-20 mins and takes 5hrs to charge. Control "beeps" to let you know the boat battery is low so you have time to get it back to shore. I just bought 2 more batteries. Other than that, is perfect!

Perfect for teenage boys. Quality is good. My boys have had it a while now and haven't wrecked it so that's something to me. They love driving it on our pond

He loves his RC boat and it does great, sharp turns and tricks in the water. The only problem is that the battery doesn’t last very long (@20 minutes) which can be really bad if it runs out in the middle of my pond.

This was the perfect gift for my 13-year-old son’s birthday! Everything I thought it would be. Came package, battery life is good and perfect for our lake community!

This is a low quality RC boat! It is advertised as Waterproof, however its not waterproof at all! I used it once and it was filled with water no befter than a much cheaper $40 RC boat. This boat is so anticipating that it will fill with water that it has a drain plug in the back! Wow i am so shocked i fell for this product and thought it would be a decent quality, turns our it fills up with water no less than the cheaper boats for sale out there. DO NOT BUY THIS BOAT!

Nice for the money, has met my needs

This thing is a lot of fun. We live right next to a couple of ponds and immediately ran out there once the batteries were charged and was honestly shocked at how fast it was. We now own 2 of them and go out there all the time. The batteries are 2S and take a standard jst plug so you can easily find more of them. I honestly want to give it a try on 3S but I haven't yet. Easy to drive and calibrate the steering. Runs straight and includes everything you need to get started. Charges using a USB charger so it's pretty slow, takes several hours to charge just one battery but if you own an RC hobby grade charger you can charge them in under 15 minutes. I replaced the battery connector with an xt-30 so i can build and order better batteries for it but that's really the only modification I felt like it needed. Lots of fun and I highly recommend this boat for the value, quality and performance.

Fun little boat! Fast off the line, good cruising speed, self righting, and easy to control. It's got a liquid cooled motor, and decent ESC and steering servo. You don't notice it's not full hobby-grade until you put a hobby boat in the water with it. Essentially the hobby boat goes 2 - 3x faster and can turn a sharper. But that aside, this boat holds its own. And is a fraction of the cost of a hobby boat.Don't expect a foot tall wake tail or astounding speed and you'll be very happy with this boat. It's got LEDs on the front and back that can be remotely toggled on/off (dusk boating), and controller alert signals if the battery gets low or the signal strength dips (ie approaching out of range distance). Being a 3S ESC, you might be able to replace the motor and/or ESC with a more powerful one and get better performance. At some point though the boats go too fast and become unmanageable and crashy. But there's def room for upgrade here. One quick upgrade that'll give you a slightly better torque feel is using a lipo vs the included li ion battery. Generally, they don't last as long but can provide better burst energy when demand is high.
