CNC 50 Hour Programming Course: (Second Edition / January 2018)

This book is awesome if you want to make yourself more familiar with CNC programming. It allows you to "hands on" learn with a simulator. The book layout starts very simple and moves very seamlessly to more difficult ideas. I am not a cnc programmer I am a beginner just looking into the idea of machining/operating/programming and I will recommend and have recommended this book to others who are curious. I also want to make aware the excellent customer service the book offers via the website cncwebschool.com - I have had two problems with the simulator and had immediate help and correct answers to those problems through email.

This book and the accompanying software is by far the best CNC book I own. It's approach via the machine and programming is a refreshing alternative to having to start from the CAD side of part production. The focus here on programming and machine control is clearly explained with good examples. Even when done with the course, this will be a go to book for reference when a question arises.

The book looks like it's very well written and very well thought out however I've not been able to take the course because downloading the Siemens simulator is been a challange. I cannot get to the exact side of the simulator which I need and I wrote to web CNC but received no respose. I wish I could use it.

Book is great for the beginner, explains things clearly, is easy to follow and will apply to your CNC Router or milling machine

The software requires you to have windows 11 on your pc. Thats not just an upgraded OS system due to windows 11 processing requirements thats a new computer for most people! Then once you get to load the actual cnc instructional software your disapointed with a very cluncky software that looks like it was writen in the 90s! So not worth it! Youll learn more from free YouTube videos without the cost and aggravation of this program.

This is an excellent book but does not contain the information I bought it for.

by far the best book with Siemens software , I bought few before but this one is the real deal as working on real industrial machines with illustrations and examples, highly recommended

Excellent book. Very easy to follow and understand. I really like the lesson time estimates for planning my study.
