great machine
i was replacing a very old bunn phase brew that i loved. this machine brews a little better than that. i am not a fan of the cone filters, but that is no big deal. the water tank comes off easily and is replaced just as easily when full. the basket has the stop to pour bobber on it, but it is not in contact with the pot. when i take the used coffee filter out, the bobber closes and i don't drip on the floor going to the trash. i use the stop to pour even when it is done so i don't drip on the plate. the lever slides easily. the hot water feature is great too. i make tea so this is a nice add on. easy to set programable. touch keys. and the biggest thing of all is that i can pour it without spilling. i even tried with cold water and couldn't. the flavor of the "gold" is great. i did try over ice and that worked too. size select and cup tray round it out.i have to say i was worried i would have issues, but i really really like this thing.as a side note, before i purchased it, i contacted braun via email with a question and they actually responded a couple days later.

Love it.
What can I say about this beauty. My wife and I have been getting into better quality coffee and decided after fifteen years to upgrade our pot. This thing is amazing. I dunno what the difference is, but the coffee taste so much better. The cold brew is ok and you have to use a cone paper filter, but we got it for the hot and it's perfect. I think the Braun found a couple of lifelong supporters.

Avoid if you're a tea drinker. "Okay" coffee...
Got this machine to save counter space since I drink about a pot of coffee a day and my wife drinks a few cups of hot tea and know that Braun generally has a good reputation. The plus is that the coffee is okay. It's better than your normal drip which I attribute to the charcoal filter and a decent brewing temp.On the downside, the machine is bulkier than anticipated both in terms of height and width. It doesn't really save countertop space as a regular drip coffee maker and electric kettle takes closely the same amount of space. I also feel for a unit which is supposed to be multifunctional should have a water reservoir exceeding a full pot of coffee since the goal is to use it regularly for other purposes. Now, these issues were avoidable with better planning on my part but still, the overall coffee maker is inconvenient. Here's the kicker and the primary reason for the poor review. Even though the system promotes a separate hot water dispenser, the hot water tastes like coffee which is very unpleasant when making a cup of tea. The reason for this seems to be that although there's a separate primary dispenser, there's still a sort of spill over or condensation in the coffee basket which will lead to run off of a small bit of water from the basket into your cup even when you're using the water dispenser. If you're looking for a system that will give you nice clean hot water and coffee, don't bother. I'm going back to the electric kettle.

Not Everything Works as Advertised
Bought a new coffee maker after years with my Ninja. Used to have Braun in the past so was very excited to order this after all of the positive reviews. For the most part it seems to offer plenty of brewing options too. My issues are twofold. The first is the fact that even after selecting the full carafe - 10 cups - it never brews more than 9 cups, always leaving additional water in the reservoir (which the manual says is normal). The second issue is the Keep Warm feature. It says the default time for this is 2 1/2 hours but it always shuts off after 1. I have tried many times to increase the Keep Warm time to 3 and even 4 hours but it never works. We keep turning the machine on to try and keep the remaining coffee warm but the machine shuts off after 1 minute. Maybe I have a lemon but the Keep Warm feature is fairly important and to not have it work is very disappointing. UPDATE: after filling the reservoir up beyond the top mark I was able to get 9 1/2 cups and after changing the Keep Warm to 4 hours and not using the stop Drip button, the Keep Warm feature is now counting down from the 4 hour mark - so maybe that was the trick!

So far I’m really happy with this coffee maker
For those that are not aware, the Braun KF9370SI MultiServe Plus was released in 2023. I believe a majority of the negative reviews here relate to either previous versions of this coffee maker and/or another older model altogether. Anyhow, being that this particular Braun model has exactly every function I desire in a coffee maker, and that it has a three year warranty, I had to give it a go. So far, I really like this machine. The build quality is excellent, and I like the way it looks. The coffee maker is quiet, and it makes great coffee whether in the carafe or in a single cup. I’m very pleased with the coffee I’m getting out of this. I also like that I can keep the carafe warm for up to four hours. I also really like that it dispenses hot water with multiple temp options. And the water output is separate from the coffee output, so you’re not getting water thats contaminated with coffee flavor. My only complaint so far has to do with the shipping. The coffee maker packaging was not put into another box for shipping, and Amazon used the USPS for delivery. What I found on my porch was the bare coffee maker box. This isn’t good, and frankly makes me very angry. I don’t know what’s going on with Amazon these days, they need to do much better. If you order this, on the checkout page, make sure you select the option to have this placed into a second box for more protection, or just buy one locally if you can. If I have any problems with this coffee maker, I will be sure to come back and update this review, but so far, I really am loving this coffee maker.UPDATE: about 10 months later, used every day, multiple times a day, and so far no issues whatsoever. ThIs isn't a perfect machine, but its darn good. No regrets.

When it worked, it brewed a good cup of coffee.
It worked fine for 9 months. It no longer brews a full pot and will not draw all the water from the reservoir. One other issue, it makes a solid mess and is hard to keep clean. When it worked, it brewed a good cup of coffee.
