Did you know 95% of bike frames are made in China? I read that somewhere. If it's true, your uber-costly Cannondale may have a frame made in the same factory by the same workers with the same materials ... but this bike has a significantly lower price tag. Mine shipped from Canada. It says "German" something on the shipping carton (in advertising print, not anything official) but it's no secret it is coming from China and bypassing the deep complex retail sales pathways, selling direct worldwide and shipping apparently sometimes from Canada.My bike arrived in great shape. It's really beautiful and super lightweight with a Shimano gearset. This bike is great. These manufacturers are going to show us what a small world it is, as China aggressively navigates this modern retail environment. Direct sales, no middlemen, and similar and same parts as bikes costing three times more. Note the design of this bike, with its hidden cabling, does not provide for up/down adjustment of the handlebar stem. Other than that it will be just what you expect, and more, and featherlight.Side notes: The rock bros speedo is kind of cheap, and I did return it opting for a low-end Garmin, and the Garmin is quite nice on the bike.
