I also love natural stone. I like my kitchen utensils practical, easy to clean, sturdy, and durable. If they fit my personal aesthetic, too... **chef's kiss** Yes, please! This product hits all these points perfectly -- and then some!Product Observations/Use:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- Really a solid, sturdy, heavy slab of beautiful marble! It glitters in the sun, even. (Side note: I have always loved crystals and gem stones, and this polished, shimmering, black beauty with white crystal veins just totally tickled my fancy!)- It's the size of a large dinner plate and therefore, quite accommodating for most things you may want to cut, leave to rest, or perhaps, even serve on it.- Comes with little round foam stickers to also protect your counter top by giving a little lift to the marble cutting board.- Works beautifully. Doesn't slide around. It makes a great place to put hot items on, as well, as stone is naturally fire- and heat-proof.- Easy to clean. Although the seller/manufacturer notes on the product page to be careful with oils and colored foods, I don't think you'll ever have to worry about discolorations, either. I would not consider polished marble porous, but I understand that the seller has to limit liability by being transparent about any potential shortfalls of any product they sell -- and I very much appreciate this! I'd do a spot check on whatever side you want to be the bottom of your new cutting board, just in case, I suppose. I'm mostly thinking of turmeric/curry powder, Koolaid and such, and maybe carrots and beets (& their juices, respectively). I personally try to avoid artificial colorings in my food, anyway.- One-of-a-kind piece, by nature. Classy-looking. Did I mention it's gorgeous?!- Sustainable, as it's natural stone and far more durable than most other materials cutting boards are made from.- This can last FOREVER! So, if you want to give your adult kids or grandkids something functional, durable, AND beautiful to remember you by, this would make a great wedding or housewarming gift.- Of course, this cutting board can also act as a fabulous self-defense tool or bullet-proof protective item if you ever have to face a burglar! Sorry, I had to -- LOL!- **Warning** HEAVY! Make sure you do have a good grip on the board when moving it. It IS heavy and could break a few toes if they got into the way. This cutting board is a GORGEOUS piece of marble, with smooth polish and finish. As soon as I lifted this very heavy piece from the box, the unique marbling throughout the stone caught my eyes. This is no ordinary piece of marble, but one with unique facets and design in the same way that wood has unique grain and staining. As a functional cutting board or cheese board, this is a beautiful and stylish piece to add to your kitchen. It can be used for kneading dough, or cutting, or simply used as a gorgeous independent cheese board at our next social gathering. Very pleased with this purchase, and the uniqueness of this particular cut of marble.

Initially I had wanted to use this as the description of the product intended as a cutting board but I actually found functionality in using it as a perfect base for clay sculpting!The weight of it is hefty enough to hold in place but also light enough to transport any sculpture to another area after use!I initially tried using it as a cutting board and felt it being a bit of a nuisance to lift up and clean after cooking so I opted for this more crafty use-case.Don't get me wrong though, the product is great! From aesthetics, weight and resistance to scratches it hits all the points it needs.Overall, I'd say this is a sweet choice in product even if it isn't going to be used in the conventional way you'd imagine!Hope the insight helps, cheers! :^)

I love marble, so I had to have this. Its smaller than I expected, but nice. It looks good, although there was a small chip along one of the sides. I hate to sand it down because I don't want to mar the finish. I also kind of wish it had been more like a regular cutting board rectangular shape. overall, I'm happy with it.

This round marble slab is gorgeous in person -- it's got the subtle veins of the marble and there were no imperfections (chips or pits) on the actual surface itself. It's on the heavy side but that makes it feel a bit more luxurious.When not in use as a cheese board, it's used as a table-top protector for a potted plant. As a cheese board, because the marble naturally stays cool, the coolness helps keep the cheese cold (we'll stick in in the fridge for 20 minutes first and then set the cheeses on top.)It's 11" round but large enough for a nice spread. I think any bigger and it would be too heavy and cumbersome to use. It's not our only charcuterie board but it is our only cold cheeses board!One more thing to note; this has a finished top that is polished and the bottom is bare and unpolished. We like it this way but if you're thinking that the bottom has felt so it doesn't scratch surfaces, you will have to add it yourself.

This marble cutting board is very sturdy and looks so nice. Perfect in any kitchen as a cutting board or even as a board to display charcuterie. Beautiful item!

It's labeled as a cutting board but I think it versatile to be much more. It can be decorative piece, charcuterie board, paper weight, elevate a centerpiece, etc! It's really good weight and quality. It will hold up well no matter what you use it for.
