It's very well made but quite heavy. To be honest I'm not sure I'd want to carry this kind of extra weight with me on a hiking trip if it's just for Nespresso coffee. It also takes up to 4 minutes to fully heat the water, depending on how hot the water that you've poured in at the beginning is. If you start off with hot water straight from the kettle, the whole process takes under a minute (as is expected).It would've been nice if the mechanism to add and remove the pod was a bit simpler. At the moment there's quite a bit of twisting and turning involved, which gets especially messy when removing the pod because there'll most often be residue dripping from the end at the same time. Would've also been helpful if there was some sort of base for the machine to stand on when I'm using the cup to prevent that residue from ruining whatever’s underneath.Other than that it's easy to use when you get the hang of it. The instructions are rather elusive but everything starts making sense after a bit of trial and error.Overall gives a good cup of coffee, just like my Nespresso machine. Decent quality and value for the price.

Great little machine. Really handy in that it uses the pods so it’s easy to clean ready for the next cup while on the go. It’s really sturdy and not too heavy to carry. I like to use mine when I’m out in the car. the initial cost of the machine may seem like a lot but when you consider the price of a coffee out it soon pays for itself. It’s quite quick to make the coffee even using room temperature water, and certainly quicker than going to a shop. I don’t tend to use it with hot water as I find by the time you’ve heated the water another way you might as well have just used the machine. I have one of the older models and the buttons on this upgrade are more responsive than my original machine. As a big fan of bottle green I’m also loving the colour! It’s USB so easy to recharge.The crema in the coffee in my photo shows the quality of the coffee it produces.

The first thing to say about this portable coffee maker is that you can get 8 (yes 8) cups of coffee from one charge!The coffee maker is so sturdy and robust and perfect to take with you in the car.I love the fact this portable Nespresso maker has everything you need in one place, there isn’t a load of parts or attachments to faff about with.The insertion of the pod is super easy and, again, you have confidence in the machine because it’s sturdy.I am still amazed that I can have my Nespresso coffee on the go, this is such a great invention.Lastly, it’s great value for money and you will recoup your expenditure in no time because you aren’t paying for coffee shop prices.Excellent purchase!!

My daily real espresso is very important to me. I have used the two previous models before, in fact the second generation is my current travel espresso machine. This new model is brilliant, the green colour very cool. Extremely well made from good materials.Most important it really does what it claims. Heats cold water quickly, and makes my four double espresso easily on the charge. I think the changes made to the pod holder a great improvement to the previous machine, the pipe that enters the pod much more accurate, with water spilling. It makes super espresso every time. I find the Starbucks pods work the best.I can really say it’s the best portable espresso maker the best I have ever used. I recommend you give it a try.

The media could not be loaded. I've had this for a week, and it's a handy little device. You can add hot or cold water to the top. Turn the device on. Put your favourite pod in the base. And prop the device in a cup at the base and wait. If you use pre boiled water the device stream coffe within the minute. If you use cold water, you're looking at 3-4 minutes. It's great for camping, or if you're on the road.ive tried pods from Aldi and the decomposable ones from rave. Overall a great device.
