Good value timers as there are two in a box and, being digital, are easy to see the time and to set up. Far more timer settings than most of us will ever need (18). One thing to double check though is that you have set the clock for the correct time period. One of our timers didn't come on the first night, even though all the settings appeared to be correct - but the following morning I looked at the clock and noticed that a PM had appeared next to the time, so it was 12 hours out. When it is morning it just shows the time and there is no AM. PM appears after 12 noon.. So it is advisable to check that you are on the correct time! Apart from that, all is OK and I like the fact that a green light shows up when the timer is on. If you have a timer on a lamp, for example, and the bulb goes - you can easily see that the green light is on, so it is the bulb that is at fault and not the timer. Overall, very happy with them.

Used (internally) to regulate my external Christmas lights. Good load capability at 3kW, too. Very easy to program if you're used to digital devices. Arrived charged and ready to program. If no display, stick 'em in any socket for a few hours to charge (also features an embedded back-up battery so you don't lose your preprogrammed times). The easiest way to clear your time programs is to reset the timer. The timer works on a continuous 7 day cycle, allowing 10 simultaneous timer programs. All so very simple and reliable! These devices, only a little more expensive than the fiddly mechanical timers I replaced, are the badger's nadgers. Well worth the expense and they appear to be sturdy and well-built. Strongly recommended.

These times work well and kept running for over a month whilst the house was unoccupied. Easy to setup if you follow the instructions but difficult to workout without. Looses one star as one of the timers didn't work the first time I set it up so had to reset the next evening. Point to be aware of, if the time you set the timer to come on is the same time when you're setting the timer up you'll have to wait until the next timer point before it will work.

Arrived charged with the clock set and more or less ready to go. Set up is intuitive without reading the instructions however I did get a little confused as the timer did not activate straight away? Referring to the instructions you have to follow the instructions carefully if you set an activation time and this time is current time you have to change the auto setting to on and then back to auto for it to work. Activation is illuminated orange. I have a 7 day time set up currently but there are lots of combinations of time settings including random to chose from. Seller sends digital instructions offers a good warranty and lifetime support. Timer gains a few minutes here and there and may require regular adjustments

Take the word "Timer" in the title as a loose term - this product loses at least three quarters of an hour over any given 24 hours rendering them useless unless you are going to adjust the time on them daily. The actual timer settings work for a given period of time and then for some reason, it just ignores the setting and doesn't go off. Both timers that I received do the same thing and sporadically work and then just don't. I thought at first I was setting them incorrectly but I have asked others to go through the instructions and test and they have had the same result. I would certainly not recommend.

I'm a bit put off my this purchase. The two units in the box were easy to set up and programme and worked as they were supposed to do. However. one of the units gained about 20 minutes a day and the other about 10..so, I have had to send them back - easy with Amazon, of course, and I have ordered another pair of switches - but not this style - as I say because its put me off this particular type of timer.

I love these timers, I use them for my grow lights in my grow room to have them turn on when I am in bed at 5am. Easy to program and have 10 different settings for flexible times for my lights to turn on and off. They are perfect for programming for grow lights on off times. The 10 different timer spots allow me to even grow plants that love equal amounts of light and shade indoors. Perfect for a gardener like myself and I will be buying more as I finish buying the grow lights I need to finish my grow room thank you.

These light timers are a bit over my head. But with perseverance I have managed to set them on the first program. 18 different programme settings seems a lot but if you did manage to set them all you would certainly convince any would be opportunist thief that there was someone at home as the variations for things coming on and off are endless. For me they work but I could have got a simpler timer. Who knows in time I may be able to vary my timings for my appliances. If you want to switching things on and off at different times and have the option of programming for different days then these are brilliant
