I purchased this supplement because I cannot take any of the fish oil supplements. They upset my stomach and I'm burping fish taste for hours. This one has none of that. There is no noticeable taste and they are easy to swallow. As to whether this supplement helps to lower my triglycerides, time will tell.

I normally take fish oil, but I decided to try this Nature's Bounty Omega 3 because my doctor has mentioned algae oil as an alternative. I also have seen this brand in stores and like that the company has been around for 50 years. The pills are easy to swallow, and I haven't had any issues.However, there aren't individual amounts for the EPA and DHA given. The total EPA and DHA is 510 mg, and the total Omega-3 fatty acids are 520 mg. I believe the ratio is important, and most supplements seem to list it. I thought this was a requirement, but I've recently tried another supplement that also listed it in the same way.

Settles well after taken on my stomach only wish it came in a bigger size

Needed an alternative for the fishy smell of the other ones and this one did the work.

My Dr recommended I use this. So far no complaints.

Good price. Small enough that I don't have trouble swallowing them. They smell a little fishy, but no fishy burps.
