These taste terrible! I'm really upset I can't return these. I have bought similar items and was expecting a similar taste. But nope. These taste like plastic. Save yourself some money and don't buy them!

My June 2024 order of ‘The Hampton Popcorn & Candy Company Wrapped Butter Toffee Hard Candy 16 oz’ arrived in a non-reclosable plastic bag with a Best By Date of July 2025. No mention on the label of where the candy is made, but there is information that states the candy contains Soy & Milk, and is produced in a facility that also uses milk, eggs, soy, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame. I could not find this specific candy on the company’s website; not sure what that means.The candy itself is individually wrapped in plastic, and it is true hard candy (no liquid or chewy center). The flavor is ok; I’ve had better and worse. There is a bit of butter flavor (even though butter is not a listed ingredient of course), but I don’t taste much toffee. At $9.99 per pound it is cheaper than name brands, but doesn’t taste as good.
