Fantastic air mover!
This fan is an excellent choice for a lightweight and powerful air mover on the job site or in the household. Currently, it's keeping us alive during the summer heat while pushing a large volume of cool air through the shady side of the house and out the sunny front. It's nearly free of vibrations and very quiet, save the rush of cool air.Considering its construction, the overall fit and finish is great. The seams are tight, the switch on top clicks into position accurately, and the power cord is quite beefy, complete with a light-up end that tells you if you have power applied. The plastic body is strong and looks very durable. I'd be surprised to come across a situation where this unit would be crushed or smashed without a rather large input of force. It also includes a pair of 3-prong outlets on the side, good for 10.5 amps when running...nice feature for the job site. The kickstand on the bottom helps set this fan apart as well. I believe the advertisement details the different orientations best, but laying it flat or propping it slightly upwards is a snap via the steel bracket on the bottom. The rubber feet also serve to keep it firmly in place. The three settings each move a distinct volume of air. On the meter, the fan only consumes 70/95/116 watts through each of the 3 speeds (1, 2, 3). This is nice, as it's doing a lot of work without sucking a ton of wattage.Altogether, this is a great product. It's living out its first month here in the household and keeping air moving, but it'll surely be part of the shop before long. I'll definitely grab another one when the time is right!

Powerful. Versatile.
This is the classic "I don't need it until I do" product.Living in hurricane and flood prone Houston made this item make sense. The product information show this blower as part of an integrated set - the back of the unit hosts A/C plugs to allow daisy chain operation. At 600 watts it is reasonable powerful. The air flow it produces is somewhat narrow. So, it is best suited for walls or placed alongside multiple units. The pressure level is quite high and works well in my case to dry car carpet. The two "legs" slow the unit to be repositioned such that whatever is being dried is heavily exposed. For contrast, a box fan blows straight ahead but sort of misses whatever is in the pressure free "dead zone" at the bottom of the fan. The legs allow a downward angle that avoids that. Further, it can actually be tipped up to dry a roof.I recommend this overall. I am not, however, an expert on the pricing of this product type (too expensive.. inexpensive..?). What I can say is that the mechanics driving the unit are simple suggesting to me that it should. last quite a long time.

Powerful, quiet at lowest setting
This fan came with simple instructions, but it was not needed. The fan was ready to use out of the box, and pretty intuitive. I really like all the different angles that I can set the fan at. At the low fan speed, it is surprisingly quiet for the amount of air it is moving. At higher speeds, the sound does get loud. At our house, the blower is moving air from our one air conditioned room to a great room. At medium fan speed, the blower fan is louder than our window AC unit. At the lowest fan speed, it is about as quiet as our quietest fan at high speed. I also like the two power outlets on the side that I can use. The fan has a heavy duty, long power cord with a plug that lights up when electricity is supplied. The handle for the blower is well designed for wrapping the cord around for storage. I found it useful to wrap excess cord around the handle when I had the blower was plugged into a nearby outlet.

great for household or light commercial use
This blower fan is fantastic. the three speeds allow for a gentle breeze in the lowest setting to a powerful blast on the highest speed. use it daily to dry my floors after moping and works flawlessly. construction is of plastic and also has extra outlets built in for daisy chaining multiple units. to me its perfect for household use or light commercial use

Seems good, but perhaps not "industrial"
THE GOOD:* Blows a good amount of air for this kind of fan.* Is quite quiet for this kind of fan (which, by their nature, aren't "quiet"). It's not something you'd want under your desk to cool you, but if it's drying out the carpet in the next room on low you'll be fine.* Has a listing from a nationally recognized testing laboratory (Intertek), so it's not going to void your homeowner's insurance or be unnecessarily dangerous.* Beefy cord that should have no trouble handling the load.* Per the ratings, only draws 1 amp, so unlikely to blow circuit breakers.THE BAD:* It's advertised as "industrial" but arrives in a box covered with "PLEASE DO NOT DROP - FRAGILE - HANDLE WITH CARE" in massive letters, despite being packed in heavy-duty cardboard and styrofoam* Warranty only covers the cost of shipping it in for repair for six months* Warranty on everything but the outer case is only a year (industrial?!)THE UGLY:It's sold for the purpose of drying wet carpet and flooded floors. Obviously you can't actually drop it in a pool of water; it's not submersible. But the warranty is void if you use it in an environment with 75% or higher relative humidity. Most rooms that have a wet carpet are going to exceed that!BOTTOM LINE:* Got occasional carpets that need drying or a basement that gets a little wet after the occasional downpour? This is for you.* Clean carpets for a living? This might be for you, but it feels like the manufacturer is telegraphing that it might not last that long.* Need to dry the floors in a warehouse? Not with this, it's way too small and your employees will probably trash it way too quickly. It's sturdy, but not "who cares, it's the company's" sturdy.

Nice fan for drying after emergency
Got this fan to dry out some carpet after a water spill on carpet. It saved the carpet as it was able to move enough air under the carpet and dry it out quickly. The 3 speed fan is nice and even on the highest setting it's still quiet. The plug to daisy chain comes in handy as it also makes an easy plug to charge drill batteries or plug in other fans. It's pretty lightweight and can be tilted to point air in various directions. Pretty happy with the
