Good quality steam riser, extension pole is a little wobble.
This is a nice kit to change my riding position more upright for my eBike. It is easy to install and did not take too long. Just make sure you have enough slack on your cable, in my case, the controller cable from the motor is barely made it. I like to have the ability to change the angle of my riding position to be more upright as I get older. The adjustable stem is great, but the extension riser is little wobble after tighten it a few times.

Good Quality, Bad Tolerances
As I get older I am becoming less tolerant of riding my bike in the sense that it has become a lot easier for me to become uncomfortable when riding - everything from hard saddles to back and neck-breaking riding positions (like the young bike riders like to do) have become very apparent and irritating to me as I age. Sadly, it makes me want to ride my bike less to avoid the painful aftermath. One of those unnecessary discomforts for me stems from the fact that my handlebars sit way too low for my old back. They were fine a few years ago when I bought the bike, but a few years on and I realize I won't sacrifice my comfort for the sake of having a sportier look when riding my bike. The remedy to what pains me, I thought, would be to adjust my handlebars using this adjustable bike stem which would allow me to position both the height AND the forward/rear extension distance of the handlebars to provide a more comfortable riding experience for me. And this stem riser DOES that, and it DOES fit my bike well (as it should since I was careful to order the right size), but sadly, the bike stem parts don't fit well to themselves. The angle adjustment on the stem neck part (sorry for the layman's language) has detents where I imagine the two parts mesh together and lock in place once you set your angle and tighten the bolt, but when going on a test ride I noticed there was some play in the stem. At first I thought maybe I had failed to install the stem correctly, but that was not the case. The stem was install well and had no play in it, but the angle joint was the culprit. So I loosened the joint bolt and repositioned the angle several times, making sure I was sitting in one of the toothed positions each time, and torqued down the locking bolt extremely tight, yet none of these attempts solved the problem. The stem goint (where two parts from the mfr meet) simply do not have a good fit. It's not like I ordered the wrong size for my bike. These are two parts that came from the mfr that don't fit well together. The bike is rideable. I don't feel it is a safety concern because generally speaking, the joint is secure. However, the small amount of play is annoying for people who pay attention to the details, and furthermore could mask future play in my forks or stems that would otherwise indicate to me that there was a problem with my steering column, and thus COULD lead to a safety issue in the future, or at the very least, wear and tear on the stem bearings that results from not addressing a problem in its early stages of development.I cannot recommend this bike stem riser for this reason. Had there not been any play in the angle adjustment of the bike stem, I would have otherwise recommended it wholeheartedly.

Good, basic, adaptable stem
I'm not the kind of rider that needs an adjustable stem. I suppose some riders change the position depending on various factors. My problem, for which this will be the solution, is that as I've gotten older, I need a more comfortable ride. But I have a great bike and didn't want to buy a new one--I need to change my bars, the stem, the risers, and a few other things to "adjust" to my aging bones. I bought new bars and a stem. I thought would work, but they don't. I realized that I can't keep buying combinations of kit till I find the right combo, so I got this stem to play with to find the right length and angle. When I do, I'll buy a stem that is made to that position and change this one out. The extra spacers will also help with the experiment, although I already have a bag full and won't use these. The quality of this stem seems fine. It isn't the prettiest part--it's kind of basic. Wouldn't matter on a bike that doesn't already have shiny machined gadgets, which I do, so this stem is a bit of an ugly duckling. Not a real criticism--just keep in mind that mixing and matching parts changes your bike's character.

Great way to create a more upright riding position.
I use this on an ebike I could raise the handlebars for a more upright position. Itâs nice that everything comes in one package. All of the hardware threaded very well with no issues. Sometimes when you get something at this price point, youâll get cross threaded screws, etc. That was not the case with this riser and steam. I meant to see if all of the spacers lined up perfectly to give the correct height. Unfortunately, when I opened it up, I just dropped all of the spacers in with my extra spacers. So Iâm not sure which ones come with this set. The steam itself gives plenty of flexibility to have the handlebars farther out or raised up more and brought back. You can also not raise the bars quite as much by putting on several spacers, then put on the stem and then finish out with a few more spacers. That makes this plenty adjustable For anybodyâs needs. Would certainly not hesitate to put this on any other bike. All in all, I would highly recommend this if you want to move your handlebars.

stem riser works well, adjustable stem is lighter than most, but be careful not to overtighten
ok..so the stem riser is pretty standard and simply allows one to raise the stem mounting point via raising the entire stem via extension. I would not put this on a serious mountain bike or high stress situation, but for every day use on a commuter bike this works well and is solid enough without too much of a weight penalty. As for the adjustable stem, this is one of the lighter weight versions i have ever come across as much of it is hollow. the downside to this is that you have to watch that you don't over tighten the adjust set screw because this type is prone to having that screw strip.
