So very cute and better made than I had expected. The colors are beautiful and you can’t beat the price. They’re microwave safe and don’t seem to scratch easily. They seem like they are durable and will hold up for a while!

Lightweight, compact
This is a set of melamine dishes with four place settings. Each place setting includes a bowl, salad plate, and a dinner plate. I bought these for use in our RV since they are lightweight and break resistant. They are dishwasher safe, but not microwave safe. I've never seen melamine that is microwave safe, so I guess that's the downside of melamine in general. The patterns on the dishes are fun and colorful, and they vary from plates to bowls. The designs are crisp and clear. The dishes look like ceramic, until you feel them and then you realize they are melamine. I am very pleased with the product. They are perfect for camping.

This is a nice little dish set. It's more quirky and not so elegant, but it has a function and it does its function well. No complaints

Double Winner Dinnerware: for Picnics &/or Grandkids!
These melamine dishes are lovely. They're more practical than ceramic dishes because they weigh so much less, and that they go into the dishwasher is great. Had to get used to the “no microwave” situation, but it’s fine. Useful and very pretty (I got the blue and white pattern).P.S.: We live around the corner from a world class park overlooking the Hudson River...so I'm saving this dinnerware to dazzle friends with picnics in the park - as the test drive, then perhaps further afield as well next summer. If that fizzles out, they'll still also serve as dinnerware for the grandkids that also just happens to harmonize quite well with my home's decor!
