I think I might be in love—with a keyboard. The Keychron K2 HE is just that good. From the moment I unboxed it, I knew this wasn’t your average typing tool. It’s perfectly weighted—not so light it slides around like a nervous chihuahua, and not so heavy it feels like it needs its own gym membership. It’s solid, stable, and a joy to use.Typing on it? Absolute bliss. Each keystroke delivers a smooth, rich “thock”—like tapping little velvet pillows that somehow boost productivity. It’s quiet enough for shared spaces, but still gives that satisfying tactile feedback that reminds you: yes, you are better than membrane keyboards.Aesthetically? Stunning. Sleek design, tasteful wood accents, and a look that says “I read Wired and have good taste.” The wireless connection is rock-solid—Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz—and the battery lasts so long I started forgetting it even has a battery.Customization is next-level. This is one of the best keyboards that I have ever owned. It is quick and responsive, with a lot of extra customization options thanks to the Keychron software. I have the white version with the wood accents, and it is by far the classiest keyboard that I have ever owned. I prefer to use the board with the RGB set to white as any other color does not seem to fit the aesthetic of the board. On that note the keyboard does not have vibrant RGB, so if that is something you are looking for then I would look at other boards. When I tested the 2.4 G connection of the keyboard it worked perfectly with no lag, however I primarily use the board wired so I am not sure how good the battery life is, or how well the keyboard is at waking from sleep. I have used the software to customize the keyboard a bit and I love that it is web-based software and therefore does not require me to download any software to my PC. Being a hall effect keyboard means that you can set the actuation points for all of the keys individually and set up rapid trigger for keys that you want to press very quickly. This is very useful depending on what game you are playing. I personally set all the keys to 1.0 so the keyboard would be consistent and snappy for both gaming and typing. Lastly, the keyboard is built extremely well and offers a very satisfying typing experience. I can easily recommend this board to anyone wanting a classy keyboard, or someone who wants to try out hall effect without breaking the bank.

A fantastic keyboard that excels for both typing and gaming. The latency is impressively low, even in wireless mode, which is how I use it most of the time. I purchased the special edition with wood accents, and it looks stunning on my desk. The magnetic switches are a huge upgrade over the mechanical keyboards I’ve used in recent years—so much so that it’s hard to go back. Another big positive is that you don't need to install software for customization, and as it is all done through a web-based app, aka no bloatwareThe only minor drawback is that the keys aren’t backlit, which could be a concern in dark rooms, though it hasn’t been an issue for me. Overall, I highly recommend this keyboard for its quality, performance, and premium feel—perfect for anyone looking to step up from a mid-range option.

I admit I bought this 75% version because I didn’t want to wait for Keychron shipping to get the 65% version. Well I don’t regret it. Not only was able to set the actuation point of the F row to max to avoid accidental keypresses, I was also able to remap the entire row to macros that make life a lot more simple thanks to VIA/Keychron Launcher. My first ‘good’ mechanical keyboard and it is well worth it. I needed something quiet for the office and meetings/phone/video calls and this delivered without sacrificing anything. I do miss the bump of tactile switches but these linear ones sound and feel so nice that I will gladly look past this and the dismal options you have when swapping out switches (Gateron double rail HE switches ONLY). The white version so nice on my desk that I’ve received compliments on both aesthetics and on how comfy it looks. VIA/Launcher is a lifesaver because you don’t need to download or install anything — no contacting IT for them to turn around and say “no sorry you cant install keyboard software on work computers 🤓”.

This Hall effect keyboard truly does it all. It’s an outstanding performer for gaming and an absolute dream to type on for productivity tasks. The keys feel incredibly smooth and responsive, and the adjustable actuation gives you total control whether you’re working or in a competitive match. The web-based software is powerful, feature-rich, and easy to use, making it simple to fine-tune the keyboard to your exact preferences. The only issue I had was with the firmware update process, which required unplugging the USB-C cable, holding the escape key, and then plugging it back in. It was a little tricky to get right, but once it was done, everything else worked perfectly. The wood accents along the sides give it a sleek, high-end aesthetic, and the build quality feels premium throughout. This is hands down the best sounding and best feeling Hall effect keyboard on the market right now.
