Benefits The main symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome include: stomach pain and spasm, feeling bloated or having wind, having diarrhoea with or without , small, hard, pellet- like ribbon- like stools (faeces). These symptoms may vary from person to person. If you have blood or mucus in your stools please consult your doctor. Warnings or Restrictions Do not use if: •You are under the age of 18 years. •This medicine contains lactose and sucrose. If you have been previously told by your doctor that you are intolerant to some sugars, seek medical advice prior to taking this medicine. •Please consult your cist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or feeding. •Please consult your cist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction. •If you think you may be ic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking. •If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your cist. Product Specification Active ingredients: mebeverine hydrochloride 135mg. Other ingredients: lactose, starch, povidone, talc, magnesium stearate, sucrose, gelatine, acacia and carnabua wax. If you take this for more then three days it could make your head ache worse. Swallow whole, preferably 20 minutes before a meal with a full glass of water. Do not take more than 3 s in any 24 hour period. Tips & Advice •How you restrict your diet depends on the way IBS affects you. If you find that certain things bring on the symptoms, then it makes sense not to eat them.
