I was worried about the size, but it is oversized and there is an elastic cinch to tighten to fit your pet. It slides right over the pet's head and looks great! The color is what you would expect and there is a smooth lining on the inside where your pet's head is. It is easy to put on and take off. If your pet does not like to wear things, it could be difficult because it is pretty easy to remove.

My dog wouldn’t let me put this on her when I got it, but later on I caught her while sleeping and she let me! It’s super cute. Not sure if it would stay on by itself bc I know my dog would take it off right away, but that’s not the product’s fault. The tail piece wouldn’t fit bc my dog is a golden retriever so she has too much tail hair to fit! I do wish the hair material were softer though, it seems very scratchy and not comfortable.

I think it's cute, but my dog isn't sure about it. I got the dark brown in the biggest size since he is 150 pounds and it fits pretty good. I haven't tried the tail thing yet, but it's happening on Halloween for the neighborhood dog costume contest!

The mane is cute, but the drawstring doesn’t really keep it in place.

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Lion Mane Dog Costume for my medium-sized dog, and it’s absolutely perfect! It fits him beautifully, and he was incredibly comfortable wearing it. The material is soft yet durable, and I love how easy it is to put on and take off with the adjustable drawstring. We’re all set for Halloween, and he already looks like the king of the jungle! The costume is also very easy to clean, which is a huge plus. Whether for Halloween, a party, or just some fun photos, this lion mane costume is a great choice for medium and large dogs!Highly recommend!

Shed and the moment we took it out the package a big chunk of the hair came out. Definitely do t recommend.

Dog won’t keep on his head but it’s stupid cute

a bit too large for my dog's head so it kept sliding off. Think of it as a fabric tube, or a bag without a bottom..all hairy.. so you stick your dog's head into it and pull it out the other side.. then there is a cord (like jogging pants) to tighten (it has a clip thingy). It did look cool while it was on. I must have needed a smaller size. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO THE COMPANY TO USE AN ELASTIC BAND INSTEAD OF DRAWSTRINGS. a strong band that wouldt lose its shape quickly, that would make it more secure and easier to put on.

I have a medium sized dog approx 65lbs. The mane fit we around his chest but it is way to big around his head and the is in no adjustment possible. A simple drawstring would probably solve this.
