I have a 2018 Chevy Colorado that I purchased this product for on 21 April. The shipping was excellent and out of the box the headlights themselves looked great. I also had spent considerable time comparing and contrasting the ability to use LED replacement bulbs for the low and high beams.It is important to note that I have years worth of mechanical experience in working on cars and this upgrade is considered a very easy change. To determine electrical modifications I also consulted my next door neighbor who is a professional mechanic prior to purchasing the LED bulbs and Akkon headlights. It took approximately 2 hours to disassemble the bumper and grill along with the stock OEM headlights.Upon plugging in the new headlights with the bulbs provided I was unable to get the low beam DRLs functioning; however, the LED light bar and signals were working. I double and triple-checked all electrical plugins and validated that no fuses had been blown. While adjusting the bulbs the left headlight projector fell into the headlight itself as I was never able to get the low and high beams to work.After reconnecting my stock OEM headlights and reattaching the bumper and grill for another 1.5 hours my headlights did not work (low or high beam). I consulted my neighbor who is the mechanic I mentioned earlier. After spending an hour conducting circuit testing and validating fuses inside the cab and under the hood we finally found that a relay had blow based on the difference in amps.I am not impressed at all with the Akkon aftermarket headlights, as I spent $15.00 to restock and ship unused LED bulbs, replaced my blown amp for $21.00 and lost half of day troubleshooting and working on my truck due to a poor configuration design. I lost money and time on this investment to modify my truck. I have found several customer reviews that were very positive and hope that this poor experience is only limited to me.In the end, I modified the stock OEM low and high beam bulbs to lumen G8 LEDs today and the upgrade looks great along with the increased light aperture I had been seeking. If I could I would not rate even 1 star for the time and money lost over the past week on such a poor product design.

2017 Z71 diesel I put these on 3 years ago and to this day I remember how much a pain in the tucas it was, but well worth it. For those who complained about the dim light you chose the bulbs so don't complain or blame the lights. The one and only annoyance I had about these lights are the adjustment studs could have been better placed and clearly marked, there is also a cutoff plate which gives the lights that sharp cutoff and shape, it was a little low and it took quite a bit of time and effort to bring it up so that the lights hotspot were visible. All in all I'm more than happy with them for what I payed for the truck these lights should have been stock.

They work great and look great. Very happy with them.

I was excited to put these light on my truck until i realized the nose of the truck had to come completely off to install.

These look great and fit perfectly in my 2018 WT. See before and after pic. Installation is a pain because you have to remove the bumper, but that is not the fault of these headlights.If you are confused about Spyder vs. Akkon like I was, they are the same. This listing is for Akkon but the units that arrived said Spyder all over the box.I didn't realize until these arrived that the high beams housing is reflector style, not projector. If you want projector for both highs and lows, there is an older Spyder model with the squared lens surrounds. I don't really mind the reflectors in the high beams though, they are still plenty capable.You will absolutely have to adjust these, mine were aimed very high and a little wide after I installed led bulbs. The vertical adjusters work just fine but the horizontal ones don't work at all. They just don't. On the driver side, turning the horizontal adjustment screw made the beam go up. On the passenger side, it did absolutely nothing. So I have to live with them pointing a little bit wide. It doesn't affect performance while driving or blind other drivers though, so it's not a big deal.Also, the led bar will not function as an always on daytime running light. They will turn on with your headlights, or if you manually turn on your parking lights.Overall I'm happy with them. The Oem headlights are awful, so these give me much better visibility.
