It's a great replica

This is a slightly older kit mold, so there's a little extra flash to clean-off, but over-all molding is very good and outline is excellent. This a very good kit for both a beginner and an expr. modeler (who may want use it for some "special project"). I got this kit to use some left-over Hungarian A.F. decals ('Waste not, Want not"). All that's left is to say: "Have Fun Modeling".

When reviewing this product I will admitt that I did not bother to look at the scale size and product demensions. Consequently, I accidentally ordered a tiny kit. (no duh, look at the price.) Its probably only a decimeter long and an centimeter wide. But other than that its a standard revell model kit. Great for if your like me and only want to see the outside of the plane and not waste time building the engine. However, because of its size there is much detail to be desired including the fact that there in no comunication wire the runs from behind the cockpit to the vertical stabilizer. Overall, you get what you pay for, which isn't much, so its a fair buy.

My son and I ordered this model and were somewhat pleased but a little disappointed. The main disappointment was in the product information. This plane measures more like 5 in x 5 in, but yet the product information says the size is: 7.3 x 8.1 x 2.1 inches. So this is a TINY model. There was also no pilot to go along with the model. But my son did enjoy how it fit together very well. The directions were easy to follow as well.

Overall, this Revell model is just ok.The Tamiya kits are substantially better if you are willing to wait 4-6 weeks for the shipment from Japan.Cons: Kind of cheaply made with flimsy plastic. A lot of flash to remove.Pros: Parts fit well. Easy to put together.

this model seems to be from an old tooling, details on wings were very difficult to make out and in some cases weren’t even visible. gave me a bit of trouble building as not all pieces fit together well due to extra plastic bits on model.

This is a quality kit for the BF-109. It has good detail for Revell, and plenty for this scale. The proportions, decals, directions, and fit are all very good. This is a fun build that you can finish to a high degree of realism in just a few days. The BF-109 is fun because it is good looking (despite its unfortunate origins with the wrong side of WWII) and because, as the third most produced aircraft in history, there are lots and lots of fun paint schemes you can do. This kit has decals for two fairly normal European schemes, but if you aren't too worried about the exact call numbers and things there is no reason you could not do a really cool desert scheme or some other unusual pattern.Other brands, at greater expense, will offer higher levels of detail and a more challenging build. This one, though, offers a satisfying result at a price and difficulty most will find accessible.

When opening it like always has no cockpit 😭😭😭 I was really excited but lost all happiness when the cockpit was no where to be seen.

Excellent service and enjoying construction

Used as a test bed for decals and painting as I was returning to modelling upon retirement. Good for what I needed it for, but I need larger than 1/72 scale now!
