Dash Salt-Free Seasoning Blend, Original, 2.5 Ounce

I switched from my normal taco seasoning to dash about 4 months ago and my family hasn't noticed. It's a low sodium option with the same taste. I mix it in with ground beef or chicken just like I would when cooking with any other taco mix and haven't had any issues.

I've used this original salt-free blend since the product was named "Mrs. Dash" years ago. It is a good blend of spices and seasonings, perfect for cooking or for sandwiches, soups, stews, etc. Use this product, and I guarantee you won't miss the salt!

One of my favorites in the Mrs Dash line of spices. I can't have salt, so when I found these it was awesome. I like this one on veggies myself. Very hard to find this one. Last night used there Table Blend on backed chickens thighs, delicious. The Lemon Pepper great on fish. Wonderful flavoring. You have to try Mrs Dash, you won't be disappointed

This makes an adequate batch of tacos. The container seems to have about enough for 3 batches of tacos (1lb ground beef per batch) when made according to the directions.The flavor was decent. Not excellent, not terrible. I followed the directions on the package to get a baseline. Next time, I will add extra chili powder and cayenne because I didn't feel like there was quite enough oomph, but the taco flavor was certainly there.On the other hand, there was no sodium, which is a hard find. This will fill that gaping void in your hear (and stomach) when you want tacos but can't handle the salt. If you've been there, you know what I mean. (Completely unrelated - I have found that CORN tortillas have almost no sodium, as opposed to FLOUR tortillas which are full of sodium. Corn is not as easy to work with, but is adequate.)I will be buying more, hopefully in a bulk package.

Sodium is out of control in almost all processed foods and snacks. It is naturally present in many fresh fruits and vegetables! If you want or need to control sodium in your diet, this is good substitute for cooked meals. Obviously it's not intended for baking nor would I recommend it on fruits like watermelon or apples. Season your soups, casseroles, and side dishes with Mrs. Dash instead of the salt shaker.

if you were on a low sodium diet, this is a great choice for taco seasoning without having to mix up your own.

Dash has always made great seasonings that are salt-free.
