Perfect size for one ..keeps rice in optimum condition... Measuring cup is a plus.... Great time on delivery will buy something again

I had been meaning to get this for quite some time, but always ended up in the save for later list. Finally did get and happy that I did. Grab it off the shelf, pour the rice in the measuring cup on top and then the water, dry the cup and back in the cupboard. No more spilling from the bag or making a trip for a measuring cup. I know these are not difficulties, it is just nice and easy -- convenient.

This product is very useful for quickly dispensing rice using the cup that came with it. The cup is also used as a lid with rubber seal.

It came in an envelope rather than a box. Although it was packed in bubble wrap there is a crack in the container. Now I’m having trouble sending it back.Would be a great product if it didn’t have a hole. If I’m able to send back and receive one that’s not broken. I’ll update my review.Updated review: Received new container next day with no holes or cracks.

This unit does what it’s designed to do: hold rice, has a measuring cup lid that securely locks and one flat-bottomed side that makes the container stable when laid on its side. I failed to notice the length/height dimensions when I purchased it which is important because, with the lid on and placed on its side, the overall length is greater than the depth of an “average “ cabinet. So, unless you want this thing sitting on your counter (I do not) you are limited to the refrigerator or pantry as out-of-the-way storage options. Holds 4-5lbs of sushi rice, easy to clean and sturdily built.

This is one of those products that you didn't realize you really needed until after you purchased and used it. I often add rice to the meals that I cook. I was always hunting for the 'rice' cup (which is only 3/4 cup) and then trying to scoop what I needed out of a plastic bag full of static electricity (why does rice always build up static?) Then I would spend time chasing down the rice grains that always escaped somewhere between the bag and the rice cooker. No more!! I pick up my Storage Bin with Pour Spout. Unscrew the 'rice' cup (it's only 3/4 cup you know) from the top. Pour out the rice I need and screw the cup back to the top of the Storage Bin. Seriously, it's even easier than it sounds. If you run low on rice, you cut the top off of the plastic bag of new rice, remove the top of the storage bin by opening the two side retaining connections and dump the rice in from the bag. The Bin holds five pounds of rice. They try to confuse you with the kilogram thing, but it's five pounds. If you have a large pantry, you can store it standing up. If your pantry has lower shelves, you can stand it on its narrow side. Either way is easy to handle. The gradations on the cup are very easy to see if you are into partial 'rice' cups (which are only 3/4 of a cup to start with). I can honestly think of no negative comments for this product. If you cook with rice, you need this container.
