Bone white hex head sheet metal roof screws, self starting. Husband says they work as you would expect a roofing screw to work. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Really holds the roofing in a wind
I used these on Suntuf, not regualr shingles, partially in an open air placement. Had some storms blow through like they were testing it and I am impressed.
