My favorite noodles
I often eat a bowl of noodles for breakfast and sometimes for dinner. Among the many varieties I have tried on Amazon, the Jjajangmen Chajang Noodles may be my favorite. I warm the black bean sauce in a small pan while the noodle water is heating and add a handful of frozen chopped Asian vegetables from my local grocery to the bean sauce. After the noodles are cooked, I drain them, plate them in a large pre-warmed bowl, and top them with the black bean sauce with veggies. Since the calorie count on the Jjajangmen Chajang Noodles is 580, you can tell that the finished dish is rich and satisfying. Recommended!

Good but kinda bland
I ordered these because of mukbangers eating theam and it looks delicious, but I got scared when some reviews said it's sweet or bad, etc. My honest opinion is that they are good (not sweet in the slightest or spicy) but needs flavor. It was lacking flavor/salt which you can add yourself and once you do that it's really good. I like how thick the noodle are and I cook them for 8 minutes instead of 5 like suggested. Also, don't forget to warm up the sauce packet before putting it on your noodles (it's on the instructions), it makes a huge difference. Adding meat or your own vegetables or cheese if you're into that would make these 10/10, the perfect dinner or late night snack as I had them for. They are also very filling which is good. Overall, these noodles are pretty good and I'm glad I tried them. I got a pack of 4 and will definitely eat them all, but I'm not sure if I'll buy again. Btw, if you prefer very flavorful noodles, I'd suggest to try Indomie noodles.

So tasty
I buy these locally when I can, but I don't live near an oriental food store so these online are the same. They taste amazing, just sweet enough to make the bean taste not overpowering, but not too sweet to feel satisfying and filling. I couple this meal with kimchi or roasted brussel sprouts and it tastes amazing.

one of these Things aint like the Other
So as someone who has bought a lot of these (180+) I have seemingly found out there is two different versions of this brands noodles, for sake of explanation we will label them A and B,When it got type A I was instantly addicted, the sauce was thick and flavorful and plentiful in the packet, it had a darker coloring which appeared almost black when mixed in with the noodles, and there were chunks of bean as well as the tofu cubes, that variant I would without hesitation recommend to any who asked, it was a 9/10, this last pick up, i got the type B packs, the branding is much more minimalistic and when I opened the sauce pack I was taken a back, the once black thick full packet was now dark brown rather thin and scarce in comparison, when I mixed it with the noodles(which are seemingly the same between variants) the noodles were a dark brown coloring and though covered did not seem as full, the largest departure was the taste, the full savory flavor of type A made yer mouth sing, but this type B sauce is kinda bland, its not bad, but it also isn't anything to write home about, its a half step above the store bought noodles but not nearly as addicting as the Type A variant. It also seemingly only contains tofu cubelets. I would pause to suggest this variety to someone, as for the price I think ya can find better options, since I can guaranteed get type A again from another source I will likely save a pack of this and do a head to head comparison, and if possible update this review with photos of the two types. Type B gets s 6.5/10, it okay, but just so, its

This isn't how jajangmyeon should taste.
This is really really bland. Jajangmyeon isn't a super strong flavor, but it has good complex flavor, which this does not have. This is very very very mildly sweet with hardly any savory notes at all. It requires a LOT of buffing up with my own spices to make it actually taste like anything. I have no idea why this is so expensive when it tastes like nothing. Would not recommend buying this at all. There are better brands that make real jajangmyeon that tastes good and price is worth it, but this one is just bad.

Love these noodles
Easy to cook. Takes like 5 min. Sauce is good. The sauce comes in a pouch. Kinda expensive but worth it.
