This is the best formulation of D-Mannose I have every tried. It is pure without extra ingredients you don't need but with added cranberry, hibiscus, and vitamin C for urinary tract health. I was beside myself with frequent, uncomfortable urinary tract (bladder) infections that started with menopause. I wanted to avoid repetitive courses of antibiotics. My doctor suggested I try daily d-mannose supplements. It is believed to work by work by making it more difficult for bacteria to attach themselves to the urinary tract. I discovered ForestLeaf D-Mannose Defense and have been so happy with the product. I take one gram (2 capsules) in the morning and one gram (2 capsules) before bed, and I have finally broken the cycle of UTIs. Highly recommended.

This supplement has really been helpful to me and it has given me pain relief! I needed relief from UTIs & there's only so much canberry juice I can stand to drink, so I love that this has cranberry juice in it. I also bought this for the D-Mannose.D-mannose is good for many things, but it's great for preventing and treating urinary tract infections (UTIs). My doctor told me that D-Mannose prevents certain kinds of bacteria that cause infection from sticking to the walls of the urinary tract.I bought this supplement in hopes that it would help my pain and so that I can have a healthier urinary tract.For close to a year, I had been dealing with painful kidney stones (like sand, but some bigger). I also get UTIs/bladder infections/kidney infections and so my urinary tract was just irritated in general.Since I've been taking this, I've had SWEET RELIEF, decreased pain in my kidneys, bladder, and urinary tract. My kidney stones are passing easier and I generally feel a lot better. I have not had a UTI since I've been taking this for almost a whole month. I'm going to continue to take these supplements to prevent UTIs and save myself trips to the doctor! I've been having less stomach issues since taking this as well.I like that the pills aren't very big and they're easy to swallow. I also like that these are gluten free.I trust this brand because this is good quality & the ingredients in this have been effective for me!From now on, I'm going to look for the ForestLeaf brand when I need refills on my vitamins and supplements. In the past, I've bought some brands of vitamins that aren't effective because my blood work shows that the vitamin levels I'm low in have not increased.I don't write a lot of reviews unless I really like something or unless I have a big issue with it.If you get UTIs, have pH issues, or stomach issues, just give it a try. It's cheaper than a copay at a doctor's office.

I started taking these over a year ago on the advice of my dr. I haven’t had a UTI since I began taking them. I was usually having at least one UTI a month sometimes two. So I was thrilled with the results. Also, for whatever reason it also cleared up a rash I had on my back that I had tried EVERYTHING to get rid of so thumbs up on the side effect too.However, it comes in a rather large capsule and I have trouble swallowing it but it’s worth it to keep me healthier.

After 3 UTI’s within the past 18 months my urologist recommended D-mannose and cranberry supplements. I found Forest Leaf D-Mannose Defense to be the most cost effective of the various products I found that were a combination capsule. Most others must be purchased as separate supplements which means taking more that 2 capsules per day to get the recommended doses of each. However, I have difficulty swallowing capsules so have been opening them into a tablespoon of yogurt. So far this product has been working for me in preventing another UTI. I would recommend D-Mannose Defense from Forest Leaf to others experiencing recurring UTI’s.

My husband and I have been taking this regularly. He had been having recurring UTIs, one right after another. He would no sooner finish one course of antibiotics when he could get another UTI. When we heard about D-Mannose, we decided to try it. What did we have to lose, right? So, we both began taking it. (I was taking it as a preventative.)My husband's UTIs stopped! I could scarcely believe it! He has taken it for a couple of years, now, and no UTIs.Then last October my husband was admitted to rehab, then to the hospital. He was unable to take the D-Mannose for about a month. And guess what! The UTI returned!As soon as I have my husband home again, he's going to be back on D-Mannose.I especially like the ForestLeaf D-Mannose Defense because it pummels the UTI with multiple weapons. It not only has D-Mannose, but cranberry, hibiscus and Vitamin C. I'm convinced!

I have been struggling with UTI's for over a year. I was referred to a urologist in December. After running some tests to make sure everything was "normal", he told me to start taking D-Mannose regularly. He actually told me to take as much as I safely could. I had been taking a product advertised on the radio and had some luck with it, but wasn't getting as much D-Mannose as my doctor recommended. When I found this product, I decided to give it a try since it not only contained D-Mannose, it also had cranberry and vitamin C, also products known for treating UTI's. I can say, after taking two capsules daily for about a month, I have not had another UTI! The pills are quite large, but since they are capsules, I would think you could break them open and sprinkle the contents into something to take them. I do not swallow pills well, but I can get these down. I highly recommend this product!
