This is a wonderful set with the self sharpening block for storage and keeps them sharp when you need to sharpen them all built into the block super handy..This set looks great and performs very well.

I love the stainless steel cover and the fact that there are sharpeners for straight-edged knives. I've always had to sharpen our knives, so it's so nice that I don't have to do it anymore. I bought a set for my son about six months ago. They were so surprised and loved them too.

This is my second set of Henkel knives and they don’t disappoint. I really like the sharpening block and these knives are razor sharp.

These knives for me are just OK. It is so hard to find good smal knives. There is only 2 small knives and the rest are the big ones. I have had Henkle over 20 years but it seems they are getting dull. The block is very big as well I had to re-arrange my counter space.

I love these knives. They have a sharpener built in which is great. Try them, you'll love them.

Handle of 4" paring knife broke within six months of light use. NBD thought I'd contact manufacturer for replacement- customer service told me Henckels was sold and warranty is only by email. They required all of my personal data and saidI would receive an email within five minutes of hanging up to file a claim. No warranty email ever came, just a "thanks for calling" email. Knife blades are mediocre quality, nothing I would buy again - only sharp when brand new, doesn't rub on sharpening stone when inserted into block, heavy in the hand and no weight balance. Bought for Christmas, didn't even last until June. Not worth the price paid.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this knife set to replace an 8 yr old cheap Farberware knife set that worked great for many years and I thought it was time for an upgrade.Things I like:1) knives are sharp and work as intended2) self sharpening aspect3) Looks aesthetically pleasing in the block from afarThings I don’t like:1) block is unnecessarily bulky2) I really dislike the black plastic handles. They were scuffed up right out of the box and would definitely not hold up to anything when washing besides a cotton washcloth3) the knives in the block that aren’t self sharpening are super loose in their respective slots and not form fitting at allOverall, I don’t think the quality matches the price tag. However, if you don’t care about anything besides if the knives do work, then you might not care. A little bit disappointed. I wish Henckels was on par with their parent company, Zwilling.

My husband said we didn’t need a new knife set UNTIL I bought it! He loves how sharp and easy cutting, peeling and sharpening has become.Great, responsive company
