Great quality product. I recommend this item. One person can install, although I recommend two person if you have an extra hand. It’s strong and durable as advertised. I installed my racks about 7 years ago and they have been a great addition to our garage storage. Looks great also.

Easy to install and perfect for storage! This thing is great for our garage! Very sturdy when butted up to a wall and holds a lot of stuff. Easy to see what all is stored on it too!

Really solid product and works as advertised. Looks beautiful installed in the garage. Install takes a while and i HIGHLY recommend 2 people with at least one person who knows measuring, squaring, stud finding, etc. It took me and a buddy about 5 hours to hang two of these. (Granted, we had a couple beers during the process) Overall great product and nice value add to your home, just be prepared to put in the work.

Learn from the mistakes I made. Many of the reviews for this product are by people who have unfinished ceilings with visible joists. The reality is that this product is much more difficult to install if you can't see the joists, or your joists are not straight, or your joists are not perfectly spaced. Before you purchase, make absolutely sure that you will have an uninterrupted run of 8'x4' and you have the joist layout to support it. You will need 24" or 48" spaced joists. Other spacing might work but you will need to get creative and it will be a pain.Clear an entire day and get the help of a second person when lifting the rack into the hangers. The assembly is not difficult but it is tedious and the screw holes don't always line up with each other so you might need to get a clamp to press pieces together while you assemble. Oh, and the instructions are awful. Lots of typos. Borderline useless images. Be patient and make sure you understand each step.Once it's in place, it's sturdy and does work. But getting to the finish line can be a challenge.

Product works well. It is sturdy. It has good installation instructions.

Install was easy with one person. A 5/16 drill bit, stud finder, drill, size 13mm socket and m18 hex bit is all that was needed. Don’t lose any bolts or nuts, you are given exact. Took about an hour and a half to install. Once ceiling brackets and drop down brackets were installed, there are 180° clips to hold the base in place while putting in the final 8 bolts. Seems to hold quite a lot of weight. It will swing a bit if force is applied to it but as long as you know you hit studs it’s solid.

I was able to put this up on my own, although having a second person could be helpful. When you lay out the holes for the ceiling brackets, make sure you use a stud finder on every hole (for finished ceilings) because studs are not always perfectly square and parallel to one another. That is honestly the part that takes the most time, making sure your layout is dialed in. I spent about 80% of my time in the ceiling brackets, whereas the vertical members and rack go by very fast. The directions say to connect all 8 rack pieces together before putting it up, but there isn’t any need to do that. I connected 4 rack pieces together to make a square and propped it up on a shelf and ladder I had. I’d still recommend having a second person for the installation of the rack pieces, but if you have something to prop it up on then you can install the entire thing by yourself. Overall the installation can take time, but once completed it’s a very solid rack and looks great. I’d highly recommend this ceiling rack.

Very well packed. Instructions were thorough (note: just make sure to look at the diagrams as they give a lot of info). I was able to assemble and install by myself. If you have to do that, just make sure you have a way to raise one side and safely stabilize it while you lift the other side. The shelf, once installed is very sturdy, although you will see some sway when you load heavy items onto it. I love the fact that it is adjustable, and at very small increments! I think it is a great deal for the price. This will really help organize my garage.
